There is no way to tell just by looking at an egg whether it contains salmonella bacteria.
To minimise the risk, cook eggs until the white is completely firm and the yolk begins to thicken.

The fridge factor – keep it cool!
❄️ When preparing meals don’t open fridge doors too often or leave them open for long.
❄️ Give the fridge time to recover its temperature after cleaning and loading shopping by keeping the doors closed for up to 2 hours.

Animals aren’t allowed inside any NSW food business unless they’re an assistance animal, as they can contaminate food with pathogens, insects, and their fur and p**p.
Under the national Food Standards Code, only pet dogs are allowed in outdoor dining areas – and it’s at the discretion of the business.

Recall: Screwball Peanut Butter Whiskey Flavoured Liqueur 750ml and 50ml

Pernod Ricard Winemakers Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of Screwball Peanut Butter Whiskey Flavoured Liqueur 750ml and 50ml. This recall only applies to those products that do not declare the allergen listed below (sesame). The products have been available for sale nationally at Dan Murphy’s, BWS, independent liquor retailers including IGA, and on-premise outlets.
Date markings: All batches are affected.
Problem: The recall is due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (sesame).
Food safety hazard: Any consumers who have a sesame allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.

Product information:
Calbee Australia is conducting a recall of:
• Harvest Snaps Baked Pea Crisps Original Salted – 120g, 200g, 230g, 5 x 18g and 50 x 18g
• Harvest Snaps Baked Pea Crisps Salt & Vinegar – 120g and 230g.
The products have been available for sale in Australia since 6 June 2024, at Coles, Woolworths, Costco, and independent retailers, including IGA, nationally. They were also available at ALDI stores in QLD, Drakes in SA, and statewide independent wholesalers in TAS. Additionally, the product was sold nationally at petrol and convenience outlets, including 7-Eleven, and online via Amazon.
Date markings: Best Before: 25/01/2025, 26/01/2025 and 29/01/2025.
Problem: The recall is due to the presence of an undeclared Soy allergen.
Food safety hazard: Any consumers who have a soy allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if consumed.

Problem: The recall is due to Microbial (Listeria monocytogenes) contamination.
