We started our theme day celebrations last week with a bit of 'pink'. Not everyone's favourite colour but we all managed to interpret and express our own relationship with pink for the day!
One of our favourite theme days is "Tropical Getaway" day. We enjoyed dressing up last Thursday in all our holiday gear. What do you think??
The 'Theme Days' for 2016 are again giving everyone a reason to smile! Today was "Heroes, Hoes and Villains" day. I am not saying who was what for fear of getting it wrong but lets just say there were lots of heroes represented!

Welcome back to 2015!! We know it is a bit late for a New Year welcome but it has been quite busy so far this semester.
All our courses have now started with a great bunch of new students in a range of courses. The first week for all students covered the unit: Work effectively with culturally diverse clients and co-workers. The week ended with a cultural lunch where all students and teachers shared a sample of food from each persons culture - YUM!!
Day 8 of our 2014 'Theme Day' was a favourite for many of us - SPARKLY, SHINY, BLINGY day. The weather impacted on our photo shoot but we managed to shelter against a wall to capture all our glamour.
Day 7 of our 2014 'Theme Day' was HAWAIIAN theme. Everyone was feeling very relaxed as we sweltered in the humid conditions of our tropical oasis called Wetherill park College!
Day 6 of our 2014 'Theme Day' was CHRISTMAS theme day. We did not get everyone in the group photo today but did manage to capture Santa and Mary getting very friendly after the end of year staff meeting! We shared a celebratory lunch before heading back to the office to continue a joyous afternoon with SALM.
Day 5 of our 2014 'Theme Day' was SUPER HERO and/or HOLLYWOOD. We had a variety of characters as you can see from the photo, including and from the left: Audrey Hepburn (trying to hide from the paparazzi by wearing a blonde wig), Minnie Mouse, Spiderman (as a girl), dumbo, Wonder Woman, an incognito Hollywood star who refused to be identified, and a Broadway dancer.
Day 4 of our 2014 'Theme Day' was DENIM day but we are waiting on the photos. Once we have them we will post.
Day 3 of our 2014 'Theme Day' was FLORAL! There were plenty of flowery staff members to join in the photo-shoot with two nearly missing out because they were working!!!! We soon distracted them long enough to get this fabulous photo. Enjoy!
Day 2 of our 2014 'Theme Day' was COUNTRY AND WESTERN. Check out out outfits and we think we had better keep an eye on the sheriff!
With only a couple of weeks to go until the end of semester, the section has again implemented the poplular "Theme Day' leading into the Christmas break. Monday was a planning day with Tuesday the first 2014 Theme Day - "SPOTTY DAY'. Unfortunately we didn't get everyone for the photo and there were some 'spotty' staff not appearing in the photo but we will try our best to include everyone in future. Here we are.....
