⚜️ Happy World Scout Scarf Day!

117 years ago today, on August 1st, 1907, Lord Robert Baden-Powell took 20 Scouts and suitable adult leaders to hold the first-ever Scout Camp on Brownsea Island off the Dorset coast. There, he taught the boys what he meant by Scouting through living in tents, cooking their own food, and learning many valuable skills through games.

More than a century later, there are now over 54 million Scouts all over the world. Scouting continues to be youth-focused, inclusive, and remains relevant by offering programs to our young people to develop life skills for today's society.

Let's wear our Scout scarves today to honor the legacy and promote the spirit of Scouting.
