In energetically intense times, we need to be mindful not to immediately react to behaviour in others that might seem strange, defensive or odd. If you have a repeated pattern with someone where there’s an unhealthy or toxic dynamic playing out, sure, maybe you do need to address that with them or walk away. But more generally, unexpected behaviour from the strangers you might meet or people you know who wouldn’t normally behave in defensive or switched-off ways - they too are just having a reaction to the enormous amount of energy, over-stimulation and sometimes high levels of fear and life-force energy that are moving through the collective. So remember, you might be the person to offer them a smile or a kind word. It’s an overwhelming time so it’s important to look out for each other and help each other when we can.

In Astrology, Cancer is associated with the 4th house – the house of home, family, roots, foundations, and emotions. During this transit, we may feel the influence to connect with and build stronger connections and relationships with those that feel like home, that feel like family. The general energy climate for April is no surprise - stormy. It's going to shift between light and dark. And this is going to be mirrored on the world stage. But one key difference for April is that we are going to have an influx of light this month - the strongest influx of light that we've seen in the year of 2022 so far. When these light waves come in, this can manifest as incredible periods of grace, clarity, healing, higher awareness and visions. I know sometimes you can wonder, "Am I detached from reality? Or am I just ignoring what's going on?"

The fact that you're even asking that question is a good clue that you're very clear about what's going on, on the planet, but you're also tapping into this part of your own soul and also the energies on the planet right now that are trying to uplift the consciousness. So, you aren't always going to want to stay in what's going on. Those of you who are on the front line right now, whether you're helping in an area of crisis, whether you're on the front line with your family or your friends' needs or yourself, you're going to find that allowing those periods of grace into you, huge heart expansion happens. You start to feel more in your heart. You start to remember, "Wow, it's a miracle we're alive today!"

Hi Sparklers!!!

We're currently under the beams of our VIRGO FULL MOON, falling at just under 28deg and trine to Pluto - and with this Full Moon's ruler Mercury currently causing all sorts of havoc from Pisces, well, I haven't pre-written a piece. Oop. Not sure how much the Virgo part of this energy will appreciate that!!

Actually, I'll revise that. Because I do have some words on the fly which I feel will fill the gap - and part of me feels that the Virgo essence will appreciate the practicality of a no-frills approach. So let's try this on for size, remembering that this Full Moon is trine to Pluto.

Practical, Powerful, Purpose.

For mine, that's the theme and that's the energy that is coming in loud and clear from this Full Moon energy.

Frankly, it's the light and the energy we need in the midst of the fog-filled ether on the other side of the Zodiac - and with Pluto's influence loud and clear, there is a side order of Reap What You Sow in this energy.

In fact, the Earth influence is high with all three Earth Signs in play - Virgo and Capricorn via the Full Moon trine to Pluto, and Ta**us triggered too, with the Full Moon's ruler, Mercury, currently sextile to long-term Taurean resident, Uranus. So this Full Moon potentially plays a key role in the middle stages of Sow To Reap.

Four planets are currently 'playing in the ether' of Pisces at the moment - and particularly if you have a planet/point in the 26-through end-of-sign region of Virgo, the other Mutables (Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius), the other Earth Signs (Ta**us & Capricorn) or Signs Sextile (Cancer, Scorpio), this Virgo *headlight* is providing space for that mix and medley of thought and action to come to some sort of fruition or reality, or at least providing space for 'process'.

And particularly if you were born in the early 1970s, an opportunity for some real, transformative energies coming into play, with this Full Moon conjunct your natal Pluto.

A real break in the 'muddle' that has been in play this week - enjoy this Virgo Full Moon energy - and here's to Practical, Powerful Purpose by the bucketload.

It’s the final Full Moon before what’s deemed the Astrological New Year, marked by the Equinox on 20 March. Three days prior, at 3.17am. Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, is in the dreamy, imaginative and intuitive sign of Pisces.

Mercury is not known to be at his best here, as he struggles to make logical sense of reality and can be subject to flights of fantasy and poor mental boundaries.

With that said, Mercury is also deeply gifted in this sign, as long as we remember to sidestep the rational and go with our senses, dipping beneath the veneer of words and listening closely to the soul-song and heart pulse below the surface.  

It's also important to note that Mercury is linked closely to Uranus at this Full Moon, which could offer us profound, sudden insights into our situation and support us in letting go of bad habits, unhealthy relationships and to speak our truth. The signs of Virgo and Pisces are known as the healing axis, and thus, this should be our full focus at this Full Moon. Mental, physical and emotional healing is possible, when we learn to find balance.

What this Full Moon may reveal to many of us is where we may be struggling to find that important balance between rest and recuperation versus over-structuring and over-organizing. When we go to either extreme is when the body, mind and soul begin to falter and give up, to lose steam. This is when we might turn to addictive behaviors or try to escape in order to soothe the overanxious mind and overactive body. We cannot continually keep serving others if we are not serving ourselves first, and this Virgo Full Moon might show us where we need to gently release certain obligations.
