If you are considering studying governance at a postgraduate level throughout 2025 you could be eligible for the Chant Legacy Scholarship.

Practical skills and applied knowledge in governance have never been more valued by organisations and government departments worldwide. For students, it provides the opportunity to pursue a career as a senior governance professional, senior manager and take on board directorships.

Successful applicants will receive their study fees paid with the total amount awarded a maximum of AUD $13,740 for the whole course of study.

At Governance Institute, Queensland members are represented by a State Council who are appointed members.

State Councils have a key role to play in promoting Governance Institute within their state and community to support Governance Institute’s objectives in activities such as attending events or meeting with influential stakeholders to communicate Governance Institute’s key messages.

We are now calling for expressions of interest for positions on QLD State Council. This is volunteer position for a 3 year term and is an opportunity to contribute to the success of the QLD office through support of State activities.
