Happy New Year!
After the year that was, we hope all of our customers, friends & family have a wonderful 2022.
We celebrate 40 years this year! ✨ In December of 1982 Bob & Dorothy opened our optometrist in Grace Brothers Warringah Mall (moving to Sturdee Parade, Dee Why in 2007).

The Optometry Association & NSW Health have advised unvaccinated customers can only book an appointment for an essential or time-critical reason which remains in place until 1st December at this stage.

From 5pm 6 May until 10 May, restrictions are changing in the Greater Sydney region (including Wollongong, Central Coast and Blue Mountains). Changes include:
👉 a limit of 20 visitors per household (including children)
👉 masks compulsory on public transport and in public indoor venues (such as retail, theatres, hospitals, aged care facilities)
👉 drinking at indoor venues must be seated
👉 no singing at indoor shows or by congregants at indoor places of worship
👉 a limit of 2 visitors per day to aged care facilities for each resident
👉 no dancing at indoor hospitality venues or nightclubs
👉 dancing at weddings is allowed, however it is recommended that no more than 20 people are on the dancefloor at any one time.

You should be having an eye test every 2 years, or sooner if advised by our optometrist. Our 40 minute eye tests are bulk billed by Medicare, why wouldn’t you!
Give yourself the peace of mind your vision is being looked after. We set up a recall to send you a message when it’s been 2 years.
We also offer retinal camera imagery as part of your eye test for a small fee on top of Medicare 👁

Our Story
Our family run Optometry practice began at Grace Brothers, Warringah Mall in 1982 and moved to Sturdee Parade, Dee Why in 2007. Rob, Vicky, Dorothy, Louise, Georgia and Paula have over 35 years of combined experience, and pride ourselves on our customer service and loyalty to ensure all our patients are more than satisfied with their experience at our practice. Dorothy, Louise and Vicky are highly recommended by specialists and have years of experience with patients with all sorts of eye conditions, as well as extensive experience in babies and children’s eye testing. Our eye tests are fully bulk billed, excluding retinal imagery or contact lens consultations.
Our shop includes a large range of designer glasses and sunglasses, as well as Health Fund 'no-gap' range for single vision lenses. We use high quality German lenses from Carl Zeiss, and all orders include 2 years warranty with a lifetime of nose-pad/screw replacements, minor repairs and adjustments for free. Rob (aka. Bob or Mr Fix It), has been in the game since the 70’s and is often called upon by bigger companies for his dispensing expertise in fixing obscure problems.
