🌻Hellooooooo lovely ones
We’ve been a little bit quiet here on socials the past week because we have been super busy with school holiday classes, and offsite classes and getting things organised as Carl and I are about to take a two week trip to our most fave place in the world - Bali.
✈️ We are literally sitting at the terminal gate waiting to board our plane as I write this and we will be sure to share our travels on instagram stories over the next couple of weeks.
Back at the studio - our beautiful Alison and our fabulous team are in charge and ready to welcome you to all our scheduled classes and take care of all of your online orders too.
Speaking of - Al has a gorgeous Crochet Flowers class happening this weekend if you would like to come along and learn how to create fabulous crochet flowers that are all the rage right now.
You just need some basic crochet skills under your belt to do this particular class and you will crocheting flowers left, right and centre.
Of course - if you DON’T KNOW how to crochet... we can take care of that too with our Crochet for Beginner’s Workshop. 😉

Christine works at Maccas in Rouse Hill and just so happens to be the Maccas Crew Member of the month 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 😍 Yep legit Maccas royalty you are Christine and we are so proud of you! 💪🏼❤️
I have to tell you…. Some days my bucket is filled so darn full it literally spills over and colours every minute of the day with joy.
Not only did we have the pleasure of having Christine today and her fabulous sister Fiona join us - we had a class full of the best humans ever, like for example… Ann.
Let me tell you about Ann. 🥹💛
This beautiful lady has been through so much over the past couple of years and she came along today to make rainbows with us and spend some time doing something nice for herself because heck.. she sure deserves. But then Ann went and did the most incredible thing….
Ann went downstairs and brought a beautiful .gale.studio candle from our store for EVERYONE in the class, just because she wanted to spread some joy to those around her.
I mean can you even? PURE HEART EXPLOSION!!!! ❤️💥
Being a small biz owner sure can have its ups and downs, but every weekend Carl and I come home and pinch ourselves that THIS is what we get to do and days like today are just extraordinary.
To every single one of you who bring so much light into our lives and our little biz - thank you thank you thank you.
We really do have the privilege of spending our days with the pure cream of mankind. 🙏🏼

How beautiful are these ceramic watercolour palettes that we are lucky enough to have in store made by the very talented Andrea from 😍
I met Andrea when she attended our Botanical Cyanotype class and we got to talking and I discovered she is a very talented ceramicist herself and I convinced her to put some of her work here for sale in store.
One of my favourite things about this little biz of ours is how the connections just organically flow. We truly get to meet the most wonderfully inspiring people. 💟

That’s MY kind of night right there!
What a gift it was last night to spend a few hours making rainbows with these beautiful mums and daughters.
Listening to kids speak amongst themselves is one of the greatest joys we get from our kids sessions and hearing one little girl say to her friend “I chose yellow because it’s happy like your smile” …. that literally melted me into the floor 😍

Little Lane Workshops is a family run art, craft and lifestyle studio & store on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and is the lifelong dream of husband and wife team - Carl & Sonia Stackhouse.
"In this day and age that sees us living life at a frantic pace, we need to make the time to just stop for a while, take a breather from life and be still and in the moment... it took a life changing accident, a nervous breakdown and time spent confined to a wheelchair to make me realise this for myself. And so freshly armed with that realisation, I some how found the courage to slam on the brakes and walk away from a twenty year corporate career with nothing more than a heart full of hope and a wishful dream that I myself could live a slower, more mindful creative life and create a place for others to escape the crazy race and indulge in some creativity for a while for themselves too.
We believe that creativity is one of the best ways to calm the mind and re-energise your spirit and there is no better place to do that than in the company of others in a warm and inviting environment.
