Floristry students studying Certificate II and III competed in Surprise Box floristry competitions at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Check out their arrangements.

TAFE NSW Sydney Region Floristry students and staff have today bumped out the floral installations that have been on show at the Sydney Poyal Easter Show across the last 12 days. Congratulations to all students and staff on your contribution to the success of the Horticulture displays. Involvement for all included competing, installing, demonstrating, stewarding and mentoring.

The East Coast Wildflowers Surprise Display competition run at the Sydney Royal Easter Show will be on display until the close of the show on 12 April in the Southie Pavilion. Competitors worked with a selection of Australian Native Wildflowers donated by Col and Craig Scott from East Coast Wildflowers. The presentation of awards for this competition was made by Adam Marshall Minister for Agriculture.

The Sydney Royal Easter Show Open Floral Display in the Southie Pavilion is currently underway with competitors working with Australian Native flowers sponsored by Eastcoast Wildflowers. The competitors are working a display for the entrance to a Country Music Festival. If you are at the show today come along to the Pavilion and see the competitors working otherwise they finished displays will be on show until 12 April.

TAFE NSW Certificate IV Floristry students competed at the Sydney Royal Easter Show to install a floral design for the entrance to a function for the launch of a new perfume range.

TAFE NSW Ultimo Certificate III Floristry students designed and installed 2 stunning floral displays on show in The Southie Pavilion at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. The students we’re mentored by their inspirational class teacher Teena Willcox and their designs will be on show until 12 April. The concept was designed to be sustainable so that minimal maintenance was required to be carried out across the full 14 days that it is required to be on display and all materials were responsibly sourced.

TAFE NSW Ultimo Certificate IV Floristry students designed a concept to a brief of “A night at the Ballet” planned the logistics and installed the manufactured concept at the 2021 Sydney Royal Easter Show. If you are visiting the show this year you will find this display in the Southie Pavilion along with many more floral designs and installations worked by professional and emerging florists including current students.
