National Pyjama Day in Australia is an annual event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for children in foster care. The event is organised by the Pyjama Foundation, a charity that provides support and mentoring for foster children to help them achieve higher standards in education.

Here are some highlights from toddlers yesterday and how we welcomed nadioc week. The children engaged in outback exploration in our tough tray- they made red,yellow and black play dough and spoke about the colours and they also had a special yarn with a fire for this years theme “keep the fire burning” we did our
Acknowledgment to country around the fire and told dream stories! We read “where’s turtle” and then did a beautiful turtle arts and crafts!

Dear Families,
We extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the tragic events that unfolded at Bondi Junction Westfield Shopping Centre on April 13, 2024. Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the loved ones who lost their lives, as well as those who were injured during this devastating incident. We also express our gratitude to the first responders, including the NSW Police and emergency services personnel, whose heroic actions prevented further loss of life.
May you find strength and solace during this difficult time. Our hearts go out to you, and we stand united in grief and support.

Did you know!
Asking children to tidy up after themselves gives them discipline, skills, and a sense of responsibility and pride. These qualities will be useful as they grow older, they'll be much more likely to keep their things tidy if they've always had the responsibility to do so.
A good way to start instilling these healthy habits in a child is with fun songs, like the clean-up song for children, which will help them learn about cleaning up while having a good time.
