A Short story before I post Funeral details for Joe.
After many years of growing up with Nunna and Nunnu on weekends and school holidays, I remember every Wednesday I used to sit on the fence at Beresford Rd, Greystanes waiting for Joe to come in his big green truck with fruit and vegetables. I used to get so excited as when he came he always gave me something for free. Whether it was a toffee apple, handful of grapes, a banana and sometimes pending how much Nunna spent, I got more.

After all these years it’s with Sadness that the Late Joseph Carwana, aka as Joe Ta Frott (Fruit)
06/09/1937-04/06/2024 Aged 86 Years has passed away. Born Gharb, Gozo Malta, Late of Girraween. Devoted Husband to Betty (Deceased), Loving Father to Kathrine, Paul and their Families.
The Funeral Mass for Joe will take place on Tuesday 11th June, 2024 commencing 10:30am at Our Lady Queen of Peace. 198 Old Prospect Rd, Greystanes. The cortège will then proceed to Pinegrove Memorial Park.
