Some great bowls today and met some magnificent people at the grade 2 pennant open pennant play-offs. Went down to the last bowl for a draw on the big board in the Harrington / Harbord game. Come down tomorrow for some more great bowls. Good luck everyone tomorrow.

Australian Open Update
Our team in the fours Julie Scott Sherilee Stewart Jocilin Hayman and Zoe Stewart just went down in their first game by 3 shots on a difficult rink.
They then managed to scrape by and win by one shot in the second game.
After a quick break to reset they came out in the last game looking to win by a margin and get through the next best.
They started the game well and continued to improve winning 25 to 3 while the team that had two wins was beaten their last game which meant they in fact won their section and will be in the knock-out games on Monday.
Let's hope they can keep the form from the last game going.

Sherilee has her first knock-out game this morning at Paradise Point against Katelyn Inch.There will be only hard games from here good luck Sherilee in your games.

Aaron Kelly will start his singles today with a bye this morning then into his sectional games at Southport.
Good luck Aaron we are confident you can do well.

Well done Sherilee Stewart getting through her Aussie Open singles section beating emerging jackaroo Kate Argent Bowden 21 14 in the first game only to come up against highly rated Hailey Packer from WA in a thrilling game that went down to the wire with Sherilee winning 21 19 . After two tough encounters Sherilee managed to hold it together to win the last game convincingly and make it through to the play-offs.

Julie Scott started her singles campaign with a strong performance losing 21 20 but came up against tough opposition inher other games. Julie played well and hopefully the experience will encourage her to head up again.

Zoe Stewart had a good win in her first game then came up against Ellen Fife who is a favourite to win the AO. She managed to get 6 shots off her and then went on to win the last game and finish second in her pool.
The three of them will compete in the fours on Friday with good friend Jocilin Hayman.
Good luck to Sherilee in the singles knock-out and to the team in the fours on Friday.

Aaron Kelly starts his Aussie open games today at broadbeach in the men's fours ,should be some great games to watch.

A huge congratulations to our Ladies Grade 3 Pennants team for making it to the State Semi Finals tomorrow morning! Good luck tomorrow, we know you’ll do great!

Our last Walk Up was a great success with good music and great singers entertaining the crowd. We're doing it again on 2nd June. Come and join us for a great afternoon!

Well done Sherilee Stewart winning both knockout games today and in to the quarter finals tomorrow morning against Kay Moran lets hope she can keep going.

Good luck to Sherilee Stewart in the round of 32 at Cabramatta for the champion of champion singles. Played awesome to win her sectional games hoping she keep her form in the knockout rounds.

A special shout out to Aaron Kelly for is amazing achievements at the Multi-Disability State Championships over the past few days.

Aaron and his teammate Brad Gilbert had several great games in the first half of the week, placing 3rd and snagging a bronze medal.

Aaron then went on to have a few more good wins with lots of good bowls in the singles. After many close games he was successful in winning the Gold medal.

We are very proud of Aaron and his achievements!

We hope you see everyone at our presentation night tomorrow, Saturday the 16th!
- 4pm we will have a game of 'Killa', $5 entry, winner takes all.
- 6pm we will have some hot finger food and nibbles ($10 per person) before the 7pm presentation.

Names are up on the board for Killa, either come in or call up to pop your name down.

A massive congratulations to our Grade 3 Pennants ladies who won their Regional Final on Saturday! They will be heading to Ballina in May to play in the State Finals.

Thank you to the Wee Waa and Narrabri ladies who played against them.

We are once again hosting a round of the BPL cup at West Tamworth on the 3rd March 2024 and would love to have you at our club participating.
