Don't forget to register. We have Tiny Tots, Little As, Juniors and Seniors on offer. It's looking to be a great season, can't wait to see you at the track.

A big shout out to one of our team. Olivia Earl was very fortunate this week attending the LANSW leadership in athletics camp. Olivia spent 2 days @ Teen Ranch with Athletes from NSW & the ACT. She had loads of fun participating in team activity’s and had the privilege of listening to several guest speakers from various sports. Olivia learnt all about personal & team goal setting (Can’t wait for you to share your knowledge).
And the news does not stop there. Olivia was announced as 1 of the 78 athletes selected from across Australia, to attend the 2024 Coles Little Athletics National Camp. To be held in Aug at the Gold Coast Performance Centre.
Congratulations Olivia. Keep achieving goals and flying the team Tamworth Flag.

Attention parents that have athletes that progress within there athletics (sporting) endeavors. There is a grant that you can possibly apply for. Please follow the link for the eligibility criteria and more FAQ’s. Applications close 31st July 2024.

The Local Sporting Champions program provides financial assistance for coaches, officials and competitors aged 12-18 participating in state, national or international championships.

Local Sporting Champions Grants for 12-18 year olds towards costs associated with participating in an eligible competition.

One of our Tamworth athletes has been selected as part of the Australian squad to attend the Oceania Athletics Championships held in Suva, Fiji.

On the back of successful seasons in the LANSW and ANSW, Abbie Peet's season isn't finished just yet.
Thanks to her coach, Jay Stone, for recommending and encouraging Abbie to step out of her comfort zone and try out for this this incredible opportunity.
Abbie will be running against current and past Paralympian's in the opens.

The Games run from Tuesday 4th June to Saturday 8th June. Her events are 100m on Wednesday and 200m on Thursday.
The games are only live streaming 3 hours a day so hoping Abbie's events are in there so we can watch.

This is her first international event. We asked her how she is feeling about competing "A little nervous and excited, will tell you when I get home"
