My name is Tal, a 31-year-old, surf-mad creative, that migrated from Warrnambool to Torquay on the Surf Coast of Victoria, Australia. A brief reintroduction.

For close to 10 years of my life I’ve worked as a mental health professional. I fell in love with the beauty of embracing challenging conversations through curiosity, whilst supporting people to evolve into their higher selves. Along the journey, I harnessed a camera for my own self-care. At the time, my photography was focussed intently at the ocean where I developed interest in capturing seascapes. This allowed me to hone my craft in tumultuous conditions. Shortly after I came to realise that my true calling in life was embracing my own creative pursuits - A love of photography. Majority of my time is spent in or around the deep blue. I also have this weird obsession with looking at light, and how it echoes on timeless moments around me. But when I’m not immersed in the ocean brine surfing, I’m either playing guitar or smashing down a hill on my mountain bike.

Life is forever evolving, as are interests, friendships, relationships & new opportunities. I’m grateful to have started wedding photography with my still wonderful friend Tron however sometimes things come to an end, no matter how great they are. No matter how wonderful it feels… thanks for the kickstart Tron - you’re an amazing human.
