We recently hit the 5-year milestone of being single-use cup free at OG and we estimate that almost 200,000 cups have been saved from heading into landfill and waterways.
A massive THANK YOU Torquay and also wonderful work by our legendary staff for implementing our systems over that time (especially during the pandemic).
Our business has never suffered by not offering single-use cups and we encourage other cafés to do the same, so the habit becomes easier for everyone 🙌☕️🌊🌱

Today is National Sorry Day and the start of National Reconciliation Week - a time to listen, show empathy and gain a deeper understanding about the experiences of Indigenous peoples and hopefully form a meaningful path to reconciliation.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mums out there, you’re loved to the moon and back.
Our little crew are very lucky to have this amazing queen, always showing our girls how to brave, whether we’re on adventures or moving warehouses! 💙

The sawdust has barely settled but we are stoked with how day one went at our new space, and there’s still more elements (and furniture!) to come.
Thanks everyone who visited and a massive thanks to our kickass team who basically shifted our whole cafe down the road in one day!
Also can’t thank our trades enough, especially fitout lords Jesse, Brodie and Lachie from Built for Advanture who worked some silly hours to help get us across the line, Cleve from Friday Crafted for our stunning benchtop and Sean from Xtracted Espresso Solutions for the coffee machine installation.
More ‘behind the scenes’ footage to come, as we think it’s important to show: the final product is always important but we’re all about the process and the people we work with.
