Wayne Gretzky, known as the greatest in ice hockey, embodies excellence in his field. Interestingly, my fascination isn't with ice hockey but with the minds of those who achieve such greatness.
Rewind to 2013. Fresh from military training, I found myself on the scorching tarmac of Multinational Base Tarin Kowt in Afghanistan.
With just over a year in the army, I was a mix of excitement, nerves, and readiness, a feeling familiar to any veteran.
That deployment was a defining moment, a blend of the best and worst experiences, where I learned the importance of self-reliance in adversity.
This principle guided me through diverse challenges: from serving in the army to national-level skateboarding, and from thrill-seeking teenage adventures to the most daunting battle - against PTSD, depression, and anxiety post-2013.
In 2020, determined to conquer these challenges, I delved into Neuroscience, Psychology, and other sciences, aiming to heal and be a present father for my 2 boys. Each day, I chose to trust in my abilities.
By 2021, my journey led me to life coaching. Embracing social media, I faced new challenges, moving beyond toxic relationships and starting a coaching business.
I developed 'Project Phoenix', an 8-week program drawing from my life and studies, helping others navigate their internal battles.
My coaching impacted over 200 individuals through various formats.
Come October 2023, I faced a pivotal decision. Attend a seminar in the USA, costing $25,000 - a significant investment, or play it safe and keep the money for an emergency fund. After consulting my team, my coaches and inner circle, I chose to back myself.
This decision led to life-changing experiences: coaching from top minds, networking with billionaires, and understanding the psyche of legends.
These interactions enriched not just my business, but my entire perspective on life.
The lesson? Life is fleeting, and starting a business is a monumental challenge. Only those willing to confront adversity head-on can truly thrive.
The key to reaching the top lies within you. Embrace challenges, trust your capabilities, and push your limits in mind, emotions, and finances.

There has to come a point where you stop running from the fact that you're the problem.
It's not your teams fault, it's not the markets fault, it's not your parents fault, its not the fault of those kids who bullied you in highschool...
Your business sucks because you suck at business.
You keep letting your fears and doubts get in the way of doing the things that will actually help you serve more clients
You choose convenience over hard work
You choose procrastination over staying focussed
You choose excuses over results
You choose Netflix over knowledge
Is anyone else responsible for that?
Didn't think so...
If you cannot face the fact that the ONLY person preventing you from doing the daily tasks that will move your business toward time, location and financial freedom is YOU, then you are doomed to repeat this cycle of self-victimising bullcrap, you will repeatedly re-traumatise yourself, and your business will reflect that
And if you face it but DON'T CHANGE YOUR ACTIONS congratulations...you are conscious of the fact that you are a fool
Business is a game of compassion and getting your arse kicked.
Let this be the arse kicking you need so your bank account doesn't do it for you
Radical honesty is the key to success.
Anything less than that and, well...you know what happens when you lie to yourself
You don't need to do another course on healing, or on being trauma informed, or any of the other "let's be okay with not being okay" courses that are our there
You are a business owner... an entrepreneur.... you have chosen life on hard mode...
So suck it up and hold the duality of life and death, of good and bad, of s**t hitting the fan and s**t needs to be done, of healing and moving forward at the same time
Do the things you are avoiding and you will succeed in your business & in your life

In December 2023 I was rewarded for all of my efforts. Sharing a stage with billionaires like Tommy Hilfiger solidified what I already knew...
This game of business growth? This game of leadership? This game of being a man?
It rests on your ability to stay calm under pressure.
Much like I had to during my time in Afghanistan as a combat soldier, Tommy Hilfiger has faced massive amounts of adversity within his business ventures
And believe it or not he started exactly where you did. Starting his own business then figuring out some stuff along the way.
But their came a point where he realised that doing it by himself isn't the best way to get the kind of results and revenue that he started his business in the hopes of someday making
He spoke about the 3 biggest pillars that he had to lock down
1. Speed of implimentation - The I'll do it later attitude won't serve you in any way shape or form.
2. The things you put off are the things that will stop your business from growing. Do what you are avoiding
3. Get a coach. Your business will only grow as much as you do. Get a coach who can help you become more in all areas of your life and watch your business sky rocket.
Stay calm, work on your mindset and you'll succeed.
