Hello everyone😊
Hope you all have a great Tuesday 💫
Here's some food for thought in relation to today's post. We believe all people have the right to work and gain skills and experience despite their religion, ethnicity, disability etc.
Today there are services such as specialised recruitment services that help support those living with disability seek employment and if you look into different companies and organisations strategic plans of operation many promise inclusive work environments. However, there is still a long way to go in creating more opportunities, changing mindsets and breaking these barriers.
The question to ask ourselves is - are we being a part of that positive change?
Hello olgeta/everyone 😊🙌
For our final team introductions we'd like you to meet - Pala, Emily, Duron, Rakatani & Paul.
We are all excited about the upcoming projects we have been preparing and working on and cannot wait to share them with you all soon 💫
Hope you all have a great rest of the week!
🇵🇬
Happy Friday olgeta/everyone😃🙌
We hope everyone is having a great day so far.
Below we have the '4 Models of Disability' accompanied by key takeaways, perceived causes and deeper meanings for each model.
How we think about disability has downstream effects on our actions or inactions. Although there are various individual perspectives and approaches to disability, these can all be categorised into four main models— medical, charity, social and human rights.

Happy Friday everyone 😃
For our next team introduction we'd like you to meet Jess & Rochyni.
🇵🇬
Today, we introduce to you our ‘Fun Fact’ series which will be part of our strategy to advocate and educate on disability rights and empower one another with tools for breaking barriers.
The series will include short educational facts and figures in writing or in video, and even more detailed snips, such as this first one, on how we can be making our world a more inclusive and enjoyable one for all!!
Today and every day we continue to strive for an equal society where all girls and women have no barriers to challenge their worth in workplaces, schools, communities, universities etc.
As individuals we're all responsible for our thoughts and actions every single day, today we recognise once again the very importance of how we all can be a part of that change and how we can create a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination.
How have you been 'Breaking the Bias' in your family, friendships, schools, workplaces etc?
