At RMHC North Australia, we understand the power of a simple question. Families staying with us are often facing challenging times while undergoing their child's medical journey, and emotional well-being is JUST as important as physical health.
R U OK Day reminds us that checking in on each other can make a world of difference. Whether it's offering a kind word, a listening ear, or a safe space, we are committed to supporting families through their most difficult moments.
Let's take a moment to reach out to someone today and ask them, "Are you okay?" Together, we can build a stronger, more connected community. ๐ซ

On September 9th, 2004, Ronald McDonald House in Townsville opened its doors, and for two decades, we have had the honour of being a 'home away from home' for countless families. As we celebrate our 20th birthday, we reflect on the incredible journey we've shared with our community. ๐
From the first family that walked through our doors to the many who have found comfort and care since then, this milestone is a testament to the power of compassion and support. Our special 20-year site is now live, featuring a timeline of our history, a gallery showcasing the transformation of our facilities, and some heartfelt stories from the families we have the privilege of supporting.
So, take a walk down memory lane and see the impact that has only been possible through the kindness of our community. A huge thank you to our families, supporters, donors, volunteers, and staff- without you, none of this would be possible. โค Let's continue making a difference, together!
