This beautiful and soft Beni Ourain comes from the northeastern region of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.

Beni ourain rugs are probably my favourite type of berber rugs. The detail in the knots is just amazing. What I love the most is that they are fully made of natural & undyed wool coming from a native sheep.

The ivory colour comes from the body of the sheep and the brown/black/orange colours come from the head.

I realised I’ve never really introduced myself so I thought I might take a bit of time to finally share a bit about myself.

I’m Marjorie, the 31 year old lady behind this Instagram account.
You may have noticed some spelling mistakes or weird nonsense descriptions on my page before 🤣 that’s because English is my second language.
I’m French from New Caledonia, where I grew up with my amazing grandma Rita ❤️.

I’m the lucky mama of 2 gorgeous children.

After living in Europe and Japan, I landed in Wollongong where I’ve been living with my little family for 3 years now.
I can tell you guys, I love the gong so much that I told my husband (originally from Canberra) that I’m ready to die here 🙏.

I’m originally a town planner and I wished I was also a photographer, an archeologist, an interior designer, a psychologist, a clothes maker, a landscaper etc… yes the big thing about me is that I have thousands of projects in minds, and only a few hours availability during my children’s naps, millions of hobbies and no real talents… but some little things about me never change👇
