Hello! Are you aware that there is a Cancer Patient Support Group Illawarra Inc who meet every Monday from 9am to 12pm at the Scribbly Gum Room - Ribbonwood Centre, Dapto? The aim is to provide respite from the cares of living with cancer and to provide access to others in similar situations and to share their gentle support.

It is a place to relax, enjoy laughter, companionship and to be creative where there is respect for emotions and an expectation of trust and confidentiality.

Discover your hidden talents and find confidence in completing your art work for personal enjoyment, and also family and friends. Morning tea/coffee provided. Volunteer Art Facilitators provide a range of creative fun for you to enjoy!

I had the greatest opportunity recently to experience a fabulous and fun filled art class with Michelle Springett from it has inspired me to get back into painting. This piece was done with pallet knives and acrylic paints which took a little while for me to get used to working with. So much fun! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

My new journal project..using magazine cover base as my journal cover, fabric binding, random pretty pages from magazines, old ledger paper, pages from old books etc. Hand bound with delicate string and ready to embellish with laces, pockets, old postcards, tags and much more. Such a fun project you can create and make in an afternoon ☮️💜

The Book of the Pearl is my latest junk journal creation that took 4 months to make for my darling soul Sista Tam 💜 it is a meditative journey when creating with intent to provide love, memories, inspiration and joy.
