তরুণদের স্বাস্থ্য ঝুঁকি কেমন ? কিছু উদাহরণ দেইঃ
🛑 ২০২১ সালে বিভিন্ন রোগে পৃথিবীতে ১.৫ মিলিয়ন তরুন-তরুনী (১০-২৪ বছর বয়স) মারা যায়!
🛑 প্রতি বছর প্রায় ১.১ মিলিয়ন টিনএজার (১৫ বছরের নিচে) Tuberculosis (TB) এ আক্রান্ত হয় এবং প্রায় ২২৫,০০০ মারা যায়!
🛑 অর্ধেক এর বেশী মেন্টাল হেলথ রিস্ক শুরু হয় ১৪ বছর বয়স থেকে!
🛑 ১০-১৪ বছরের শিশুদের মৃত্যুর প্রধান ৫টি কারণ এর মধ্যে একটি হচ্ছে ডায়রিয়া এবং নিয়োমনিয়া!

এই রকম আরো অনেক ভয়াবহ পরিসংখ্যান রয়েছে এবং এগুলোর বেশীরভাগই উন্নয়নশীল বা অনুন্নত দেশে। আমাদের বাংলাদেশে ও একধরণের অসুস্থ উন্নয়ন প্রতিযোগীতা চলছে। আমরা দামী খাবার খাই, দামী জামা কাপড় পরি, দামী ফোন ব্যবহার করি, বিনোদন করি, ফাস্ট ফুডে এক বসায় ৫০০-১০০০ টাকা খরচ করি কিন্তু সারা বছরের জন্য ১/২,০০০ টাকা খরচ করে নিয়মিত হেলথ চেক আপ করে স্বাস্থ্য সচেতন হওয়ার চেষ্টা করি না। ব্যাক্তি বা প্রতিষ্ঠান পর্যায়ে কেউ আমরা এটাকে গুরুত্ব দিচ্ছি না! প্রাইভেট স্কুল কলেজ গুলোতে ডায়েরী, ক্যালেন্ডার, পিকনিক, ইউনিফর্ম, ক্লাস পার্টি ইত্যাদি বিভিন্ন উদ্দ্যেশে টাকা নেওয়া হয় কিন্তু তার থেকে দশ গুণ কম খরচে বার্ষিক স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা করা গেলেও সেটা করার কথা আমরা ভাবছি না!

জাপান প্রায় ১০০ বছর ধরে স্কুল বেইজ হেলথ চেক আপ করছে বর্তমানে সব শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান, সব অফিসে বার্ষিক স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা বাধ্যতামূলক রয়েছে সেই সাথে ডিজিটালি হেলথ ডাটা ম্যানেজ করা হচ্ছে। বাংলাদেশে বর্তমানে যে অবকাঠামো এবং অর্থনৈতিক সক্ষমতা রয়েছে তাতে প্রায় ৫০% শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে এই বার্ষিক স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা বাধ্যতামূলক করা যেতে পারে। আমাদের সক্ষমতার চেয়ে সচেতন হওয়ার বাধাটা বেশী।
সেই বাধা অতিক্রম করার লক্ষ্যে গত ১ বছরের ধারাবাহিক চেষ্টায় আমরা জাপানের কিয়ুশু বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের গবেষণা প্রকল্প, “পোর্টেবল হেলথ ক্লিনিক” এর সাথে চুক্তিবদ্ধ হয়ে “উদ্যোগ ও উদ্যোক্তার” পক্ষ থেকে হেলথ এন্ট্রারপ্রেণারশীপ প্রজেক্ট এর আওতায় ঢাকার উত্তরায় The Radius International School এ বাধ্যতামূলক বার্ষিক স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা চালু করেছি। এখন থেকে প্রতি বছর সকল শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য এটা চলমান থাকবে। গত ২৮ এপ্রিল মেন্টাল হেলথ স্ক্রিনিং সহ মোট ১৫টি হেলথ চেক আপ ভাইটাল সাইন স্ক্রিনিং এর মাধ্যমে এই যাত্রা শুরু হয়। ওয়েব বেজড হেলথ ডাটা ম্যানেজমেন্ট সহ আরো বিভিন্ন সেবা এই প্যাকেজে ধীরে ধীরে অন্তর্ভূক্ত হবে। লক্ষ্য হল, প্রিভেন্টিভ হেলথ কেয়ারএ সচেতন এবং অভ্যস্ত করে তোলা। আশা করছি সবাই নিজ নিজ প্রতিষ্টানে অচিরেই এই ধরণের উদ্যোগ শুরু করবেন এবং শিক্ষক, শিক্ষার্থী, অভিভাবক সবাই সচেতন হয়ে এই মহৎ উদ্যোগে এগিয়ে আসবেন।

One of our 3ZERO clubs (050-001-058) has recently published a hard copy bulletin titled "Healthy Horizons: A Student Guide to Wellness," aimed at promoting preventive healthcare practices among school students. The bulletin briefly discusses the global youth health crisis and emphasizes the importance of preventive healthcare. It highlights the significance of annual health check-ups in schools and the need for regular management of health data.

This bulletin was distributed to all students and guardians at The Radius International School, Dhaka. It's worth noting that The Radius International School is the first school in Bangladesh to implement the "Genki Campus" program, which focuses on annual health check-ups and health data management as part of a research initiative by Kyushu University, Japan.

The publication of this bulletin was made possible with the support of Uddog o Uddokta and The Radius International School. We extend our gratitude to our dynamic 3ZERO leaders for spearheading this wonderful initiative.
