There are now many market and social research agencies in Bangladesh. How many of these follow international standards, that too regularly updated to stay in line with fast changing trends?
We do, as company member of Insights Association.

সামাজিক এবং বাজার গবেষণার জন্য প্রযুক্তির ব্যবহার নিঃসন্দেহে প্রয়োজনীয়। তবে সমাজের সদস্য অথবা ভোক্তা যাই বলা হোক না কেনো, আমরা মানুষ এবং গবেষণার সাথে যারা জড়িত তারাও মানুষ। মানুষ যদি মানুষকে বুঝতে চায় তাহলে প্রযুক্তির পাশাপাশি মানুষের বুদ্ধিমত্তা ব্যাবহার না করলে এমন অবস্থা হয় (একটু ভালো করে ছবিতে লেখা গুলো পড়ুন)।

- মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে অবস্থিত নামিদামি এক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এই জরিপটি পরিচালনা করছে। নিঃসন্দেহে ইংরেজি ভাষা থেকে বাংলা অনুবাদের কাজটি প্রযুক্তির উপর ছেড়ে দেয়া হয়েছে 😃

আমাদের দেশে বাজার গবেষণা বা মার্কেট রিসার্চ এর কি অবস্থা বুঝুন - একটি রিসার্চ এজেন্সি সম্প্রতি এক ফেসবুক পোস্টের মাধ্যমে "বাংলাদেশে পোষা প্রাণীর সট্র্যাপ" ব্যাবহার করে এমন প্রতিষ্ঠানের খোঁজ করছিলো।
ব্যাপারটা হলো তারা আসলে PET Strap (Polyethylene Terepthalate Strap) কে Pet (পোষা প্রাণী) বানিয়ে দিয়েছে। গবেষণার বিষয়বস্তুর ধারণা না থাকলে গবেষণা করে কি করে?

This sample survey, conducted by GeoPoll, shows the state of the Global Cost of Living Crisis. Although Bangladesh was not included, it definitely reflects what's going on and what to expect in Bangladesh now and (at least) next year. All sections of our society have to be very careful with their budgets, and work harder to not lose their jobs or business.
