Life has been busy and I’ve found myself questioning: what is the point of making music? What is my vision, what are my goals, who am I serving? ⁣
⁣
I’m gonna spend some time to answer these questions and come out on top of it, with a healthy and positive attitude. I’m feeling optimistic and I’ve been having fun in the stu lately. I LOVE the process and I have ever since I learned Reason 4 in music tech class in high school. ⁣

Vinyl on sale now on Qrates, in case you missed the crowd fund…A little backstory behind my 2nd album, “Dreaming In Four Dimensions”. I was halfway through writing it in 2021 when my friend Jesus gifted me this painting before we moved to Chicago.⁣

When I saw it for the first time, I knew the painting was going to become the muse for finishing the rest of the album, and be the source of the cover art. ⁣
⁣
After finally finishing the album in 2022, I researched how to scan this painting into a print bed large enough so it could be used digitally. Then it was touched up and colorized, slightly. I used Qrates to crowdfund the project, and had to measure out how the dimensions to work for vinyl, front and back.⁣
⁣
I also wanted to try my hand at print/graphic design work, and used some of Jesus’ other work to design the Side A and Side B labels. ⁣
⁣
This is the end result, after 218 copies were backed and some of you received them around Christmas of 2022. ⁣
⁣
Now, there are more in stock on Qrates if you are interested. Seeing an album come to life in vinyl after all these years is so rewarding. Thank you for supporting, seriously!⁣

The fourth dimension is time. I wanted to stretch and push boundaries with tempo on various tracks. I wanted this work to be jazzier, dream-like, more worldly than Chromafunk. The end result is something that pleases me and I hope it pleases you.
