The project is funded by Erasmus, we're addressing advocacy education gaps, creating a training program to empower Down syndrome self-advocates.

A model with Down's syndrome who will walk in London's Fashion Week says she wants to "change the face of fashion".
Beth Matthews, 23, from Swansea, is one of very few with the condition to walk in an international fashion event.
Since signing in 2022, she has posed for publications such as Cosmopolitan and was invited to walk the carpet of Venice Film Festival.
Her mum, Fiona, said Beth's growing confidence has helped her find her identity.
She added the representation would change perspectives of Down's syndrome, showing "that somebody like Beth has an amazing life".

Mar Galcerán is about to become the first deputy with Down syndrome in the Valencian Parliament. She has been in the public service for 26 years and is now part of the executive committee of the PP. "We can take on our own challenges and pursue our dreams like anyone else," she says. "The important thing is to love," she adds, to encourage other people with Down Syndrome to take the step of fighting for their rights. 'We can achieve what we set out to do,' she says, on World Down Syndrome Day.

💛💙 Károly Kisari is the founder of the hungarian Hidden Treasures Down Association and the Mentorállás Foundation. When her daughter Eszter was born 23 years ago with Down Syndrome he did not collapse, but sought and found a solution to help the development and integration of children with disabilities into society, as well as building a community. His goal with the organizations is to make society more accepting, and to give people with disabilities the opportunity to become active members of society and find their place in the open labor market.
