In patients with a brain tumor, advanced imaging helps the neurosurgeon remove the tumor as much as possible while minimizing the post-operative deficit. The brain tumor is the white spot, the yellow blobs are the patient's language areas, the color map shows his white matter tracts, and the blue map measures the perfusion of his brain.
