Tomorrow is the last time performing with the comedy tour “De Lijst van Han Solo”
It has been a wonderful journey and it aches my heart to see it come to an end. I have enjoyed playing a small part in the incredible line up with , , & .
I’m grateful to have been a part of it and take all the beautiful memories and many laughs we shared along the way & will keep them close to the heart.

So what happens now? Well, I can reveal one little gem of all my secret projects for the future: I will be working on my second solo show. Cabaresque, where cabaret meets burlesque. Part 2.

Op 21/07 vieren we in het Capitole met de crème de la crème van de Belgische Burlesque! Met meer dan 15!! Acts staan wij klaar om u mee te nemen naar een wondermooie inspirerende avond waar Burlesque en België elkaar ontmoet. Zij die al elk jaar van de partij zijn weten dat deze show ABSOLUUT niet te missen is. En iedereen die mij kent WEET dat ik er telkens weer een nieuw schepje bovenop wil doen.

Ook dit jaar heb ik samen met mijn dierbare vrienden een gloednieuwe show voor u klaar om nog lang van na te genieten.

These past couple of days I really had to actively sit down and remind myself who I am, what my strengths & talents are. I had to sit still with myself and really listen to my gut, my core, when asking what it is that I wanna do and accomplish in life.

As humans, we often get (unsolicited) advice from every possible corner. Some well intended, others not so much. We have a lot of interferences with what our true alignment is & this week I had it particularly hard to remind myself why I’m doing all this. What is my goal? What makes me smile and think: This is why life is so worth it!

I’ve got a very specific skill set, that I never asked for, it just is part of me. And I have tried to find my way in it to explore the possibilities. Some nights the stage is the only place I feel I truly belong and then other nights the crowd is so quiet I wonder if I come from another planet and just don’t speak their language.

I feel that I’m wide awake in a room filled with sleepwalkers. It feels dangerous to wake them up yet all I wanna do is scream: WAKE UP! Enjoy the now! Stop chasing money and start chasing fulfillment, joy, happiness, kindness. The more I see the news or media the more broken my soul feels. So much hate… so much focus on the things that don’t bring anything real into life. It feels like we chase money to be able to live when we’re created in a world that has enough for everyone. Yet the system has been balanced to (over)produce. Not: work so everyone can have enjoyable lives and enough, but: Work so an extreme small percentage of people can own a disgusting huge amount of money. An imbalance that is actively ruining the whole world we all share. The obsession with getting filthy rich is so harmful that it is killing the only home we have.

I think a lot about this cree Indian proverb: “Only when the last tree has been cut, the last river has been poisoned & the last fish has been caught. Will we realize we cannot eat money”

& it makes me cry every single time. I’d love to change the world, but I don’t know what to do.

I sometimes wonder if I’m the only one. Or are there others who think exactly the same?
