The school hosted a lovely end-of-year breakfast to thank our dedicated parents and teachers. Ms. Samira, PTA Lead, presented certificates of appreciation and expressed her gratitude for their hard work and commitment to our school community. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated team, and we wish them all a restful and enjoyable summer break, and we look forward to having them and other new parents on board again next year.

Attention students and parents: In accordance with the Ministry of Education’s decision, the school will be closed on Wednesday 15th May, and Thursday 16th May. The school band showcased their incredible skills and beautiful voices leaving us all in awe. Raising awareness through colours! Our students wore red, green, yellow and blue today in support of Autism Awareness Day. They engaged in various classroom activities to broaden their understanding of autism and to learn how to support those on the spectrum.

We were honoured to host a fantastic INJAZ entrepreneurial innovation workshop at our school. Our students were enthralled by the cutting edge topics they were introduced to by the facilitators. At the end of the workshop they were subjected to a Dragons Den style Q & A session to test the viability of their concepts. Overall it was an invaluable experience for our students and they cannot wait for the next INJAZ visit.

Ali Jasim our Year 11 student, was honored by H.H. Sheikha Nayla bint Hamad bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa at the Royal Life Saving appreciation ceremony, alongside distinguished guests H.H. Shaikh Mohamed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, H.E. the Minister of Education, and H.E. Dr. Jaleela bint AlSayed Jawad Hasan the Minister of Health. Ali’s dedication to the Royal Lifesaving Bahrain since last year has made him a standout member, actively contributing as a lifesaver and volunteer first aider.

Switzerland proved to be a winter wonderland for our Upper Secondary students. From thrilling ski lessons to visits to Chocolate and Cheese factories, every moment in this snow-covered paradise was embraced. Unforgettable memories were created on this epic ski trip!

MNS Bahrain today received Major Mohammed Alsayed and Brigadier Khaled Abdulaziz Alkhayyat along with Mr. Jamie Elson, representatives from the Ministry of Interior Tennis Challenger event who visited our school to present our Principal, Ms. Ola Abu Zaroor, and Head of Lower Secondary School, Amy Pearson, with a special award in recognition of our students sterling service at the event for the past three years. Our students continue to play their part in promoting sports participation at an international level.

Celebrating diversity and cultural exploration! Multinational day saw a vibrant display of students’ research and appreciation for different countries. From showcasing traditions and mouthwatering cuisines to a spectacular fashion show, the event brought the world to our school. The 6M French display was the overall winner with the students showcasing a plethora of knowledge.

Our Year 9 to Year 11 students and the MNS Environmental Club joined forces to participate in a beach clean-up drive at Nurana Beach. In just a couple of hours they managed to collect over 150kg’s of waste consisting of various materials such as plastics, organic waste and metals. To make such a significant impact in a short space of time was deeply empowering for them and they’re more determined than ever to continue their excellent work in keeping Bahrain beautiful.
