The Speech Therapy Unit of the Ministry of Education is where parents, teachers, guidance counselors, psychologists, doctors, or audiologists who suspect that a child may have a speech problem may go to seek help.
Please be advised that the Speech Therapy Unit has updated its referral form to better serve you. All referrals are now made via your child school's guidance counselor. If there is no guidance counselor or the child is at a private school please contact Special Services ( 502-8582 Angela Dames Speech receptionist or 502-2926 Sophia Brown Special Services Receptionist). You will receive assistance to make your referral.
