Registration is open and the Club is collecting donations for Barrie’s Community Fridge with sign up.

A poll from the Angus Reid Institute, released on today, shows that 57 per cent of Canadians reported having a difficult time feeding their family recently, an increase from 36 per cent when the question was last asked in 2019! Food insecurity continues to be a serious concern. If you are in a position to donate, please do so!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Although the fridge cannot accept meat/poultry we can accept donations that add to a wonderful thanksgiving meal. If you’re in a position to do so, please consider donating to the fridge and help ease the burden of those in our community this holiday season!

Kits will be available for pickup at the Barrie community fridge TOMORROW from 9am-12pm. One kit per family, while quantities last! Thank you to our amazing community for coming together and making these kits possible!

Kits for Kids will be distributed at the Community Fridge on Saturday September 11 from 9am to 12pm or while quantities last. ONE kit per family. Please practice safe COVID protocols when visiting.
