Barrie Seniors Community Fund was created by CARP Barrie Chapter 36 to support local Barrie and Area seniors who live in Poverty.
Approximately 20% of Ontario Seniors Live In Poverty
The annual cost of living in Barrie this year is $31,464.00. Heartbreakingly, approximately 1 in 5 seniors live below the poverty line of $19,501.00. The average cost of rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Barrie is $1717
