I never would’ve eaten a cheese fondue if it weren’t for this exchange. And the views were amazing. I got to see a different side of the world, a different culture. I can proudly say that this was an amazing experience and it has made me very happy. It has always been my dream to visit the world and it has been a great start to this dream. I recommend this exchange to anyone. Don’t let your fear stop you.

Today's Tip Tuesday - Student Requirements! 💡

Here are some things you will need to consider if you'd like to participate in one of ISE's student programs:

✅Must have received and are up-to-date with immunizations. Each country has its own mandatory requirements and do not allow for personal belief exemptions

✅Must have received medical clearance to participate in the suitable exchange

✅Recommended by their teachers, guidance counsellor, and school principal

✅Able to greet their partner upon their arrival

✅Must have valid travel documentation

“I learned so much more French and more about European culture. We spent pretty much everyday at the beach or hanging out in a small town, Carry, on the coast of the Mediterranean. I made so many new friends and had so much fun.”

As most of you know, insurance is crucial when travelling. This also stands with our student exchange program. Insurance when travelling with ISE is mandatory - we always ensure that we help provide the necessary insurance for students when travelling.

Packing can be stressful, especially when going for a long trip like a summer exchange program! Be sure to compile a list of all the items you know you will need. Factor in things like weather, and place of travel to determine what to pack. Be sure not to forget your favourite electronics and other essential items you'll need while away!

As Summer Exchange is rapidly approaching, we highly suggest brushing up on the language of the country you are visiting. Study what you have learned thus far and ensure you know enough to at least hold a decent conversation. While you will learn a great deal there, it is extremely helpful to have a good starting point!
