🌿✨ Exploring nature is essential for children! 🐞🌼 It sparks curiosity, fosters a love for the environment, and teaches valuable lessons about ecosystems and biodiversity. By observing insects and the surrounding world, kids develop critical thinking skills, enhance their creativity, and learn to appreciate the beauty of nature. Plus, it encourages outdoor play, which is vital for their physical and mental well-being. Let’s inspire the next generation to be nature explorers! 🌍💚

💧Step outside into the lovely warmth of the morning, grab your favorite mug filled with steaming coffee, and savor the moment. As you enjoy the tranquility, why not engage your little ones in a fun and creative activity?😉

Let's embark on a water painting adventure! 👍Gather your supplies -🖌 a paintbrush, 💦some water, and interesting surfaces like 🪨river rocks, 🪵a fence, or interlocking stones. Watch as your kids transform these ordinary objects into vibrant works of art with just a touch of water. It's a simple yet magical experience that will surely brighten up your day. Have fun creating together in the great outdoors! 🎨☀️🌈

Why self-regulation is important???
As your child grows, self-regulation helps them:

✅️learn at school – because self-regulation gives your child the ability to sit and listen in the classroom
✅️make friends – because self-regulation gives your child the ability to take turns in games and conversation, share toys, and express emotions in appropriate ways
✅️become more independent – because self-regulation gives your child the ability to make appropriate decisions about behaviour and learn how to behave in new situations with less guidance from you.

There are some simple activities which you can practice with your little one 😉 ⬇️

🟢 Freeze dance.
Dance as the music plays. When the music stops, each player must freeze immediately and hold that position until the music begins again.

🟢Simon says.
The players must obey all commands that begin with the words “Simon says”. If Simon says, “Simon says touch your nose” then all players must touch their nose.

🟢Traffic light.
Use the colours 'green' and 'red' to signal when to go and stop. Let your child be in control of giving the instructions. If you are feeling creative, you could create your own traffic lights with card and paper to hold up when you say the words.

🟢Blowing Bubbles.
Help your child learn how to breathe deeply by blowing bubbles. Plus, who doesn't love bubbles?😁

🟢Singing songs about emotions like " If you happy and you knowing song "
You can add variety of emotions to your song and create your own action.
For instance, if you angry 😠 and you know it stomp your feet. If you excited and you know it shout hooray and etc.

What is “open-ended art”? 🎨 Open-ended art focuses on the process rather than the product. This means allowing children to explore materials as they see fit, rather than expecting children to create a certain realistic drawing or painting 🖼

Open-ended art activities allow children to express their individuality and creativity freely. There is no right or wrong way to create, which helps build their confidence and self-esteem.

My favourite open-ended art experience with children is

🪨 Nature Art 🍃

Take a walk outside and collect natural materials such as leaves, flowers, sticks, and rocks. Provide children with a canvas, glue, and other materials they may want to use. Encourage them to arrange the natural materials however they like, creating a unique work of art that reflects the beauty of the outdoors.👍👍👍👍

Are you not in the mood to go outside but your kids are eager to play in the snow? No worries! Bring the snow indoors with this fun activity))))

Snow painting is a timeless activity that kids love. Instead of forcing them to brave the cold outdoors, you can enjoy the snow indoors while staying warm.
You can even enhance the experience by adding toys like animals, toy cars, and toy people.

This activity is perfect for toddlers during snowy days and also helps develop their cognitive skills

Who says studying is boring 😴Did you know that your child can learn the alphabet effortlessly?🧐 Here's how:⬇️

Teach your child to rub their hands with soap while singing the ABC song. Let the soap stay on their hands as you sing. When the song ends, they can rinse it off. Make it a habit to do this every time you wash hands with your little one.

Not only will this activity help them learn the alphabet, but it will also promote good hygiene habits. It's a fun and easy way to make learning enjoyable for your child.

MACTAC + MASKING TAPE to keep your toddler busy 👍

The sticky tactile surface is perfect for sticking up almost anything ( pieces of paper, leaves, blocks, tissue paper and so on ) . In fact the surface itself is not only fun for your child to touch , it is , also, enhancing child’s fine motor, tactile exploration and problem solving skills.

Be sure to pick up the mactac and masking tape on your next trip to the dollar store and try this activity at home!

Blocks are a wonderful opportunity for children to build creative skills, develop motor skills, spatial awareness and so many more "building blocks" for their later learning. Additionally, working with blocks introduces opportunities for social interactions including negotiating, sharing, and problem-solving.

Here is one great activity for 3 year old children .

🟩🟦Giant shape match🟩🟦

Trace the outline of giant building blocks on a large piece of paper. Tape the paper to the floor for easy use. Then, ask your child to lay the correct building block on its matching outline

💦Sensory play 💦

Sensory play isn't only about touch; it is also about the other senses. Sensory play is VITAL for little explorers because it strengths bunch of other skills such as :

✅Language skills
Playing with different types of textures, tastes, and objects help your child build new ways of talking about the world

✅ Fine motor skills
Sensory play often involves using and building fine motor skills by exploring toys and other objects using pinching, pouring, and lacing movements.

And much more

Sensory exploration is a child's way of examining, discovering, categorizing, and making sense of the world, and it is beneficial to provide them with opportunities for sensory play.

That is why children at “Key to Kid” home daycare centre get an opportunity for sensory play on daily basis .

Verbal communication relies on understanding speech, which begins with a child's perception. They perceive the world and objects through their senses, engaging their entire sensory system.

For instance, to comprehend that something is an apple🍎, a child must experience it through various sensory sensations:

-Taste
-Smell
-Color
-Shape and size
-Sound

🍏🍎In essence, it means they must try the apple, smell it, touch it with their hands, look at it with their eyes, and hear its crunch.

This process is crucial for encoding the meaning of each word into memory. It lays the foundation for effective communication.

🎨Painting helps develop muscle control👍

If your child likes to paint but got bored with a brush give him something instead: a toy car, an ice cube,a sponge and so on.

Working with a brush or small tool helps develop fine motor skills (small muscle control). While working on large sheets of paper or at the easel helps develop large muscle control (Gross Motor skills). Painting also helps develop your child's hand eye coordination.

Would it surprise you to learn that ✅encouraging your child’s imagination and ✅creative thinking is likely to have a 🔺greater impact on their future learning than knowing letters and shapes before school? It is also great fun.👍
Young children tend to be curious, have great imagination and enormous creative capacity. These are valuable qualities that support learning in school and throughout life, and should be nurtured from an early age.
