Enjoy your weekend!
Look at our staff. This was the last day of a very busy summer program and these athletes still had the strength to climb to the top. Amazing!
It has been a busy week. Welcome to all of our families, the children and all of our staff. All our school age programs are up and running. St Charles Before and After school program had the green light to open this morning and we look forward to opening the Child Care Centre in November. The North Child Care and Harvest Hills Child Care Centres have new children transitioning and we look forward to another successful year. We wish the children that have left for Junior Kindergarten the greatest success.
Today we continued to move items as needed. Thank you to all our staff for your assistance. Thank you Carrie for taking on the role of truck driver and Lyndsey for assisting her.
Have a fabulous weekend everyone!
Making an announcement of a new baby is the best way to end a day. Welcome Ezariah! Olivia, a staff from the North site delivered this handsome boy on September 5th. Congratulations to her and her husband. We can not wait to meet this bundle of joy in person!
We are so excited to announce that our newest Child Care Centre will open on September 6th, 2022. Harvest Hills Child Care, "where we plant the seed for lifelong learning" is beautiful and fully staffed with an incredible team of experienced educators. We offer Toddler, Preschool and School Age care. Families interested in care can reach out to the Supervisor Katy Stever. Please visit our website for her contact information and to view all our other programs. We are excited to have partnered with the Simcoe County District School Board to create a seamless day for families in the community.
On Monday August 29th, a thief walked into our toddler playground at approximately 6:04 am and stole our shelter that provides shade for the children. This was planned and deliberate. Likely a person that lives in the area or uses a community service nearby. An individual on a bike was also present. If you know who this is or one of your neighbours has a large white shelter that has suddenly appeared in their yard this week, please contact the South Simcoe Police. We are so disappointed and hope this individual will return what does not belong to them. Just a reminder to lock things up every night. Please share this!
Decorating cookies and painting pottery. The fun never ends!
Today I stopped by our summer program while they visited in the community. I enjoyed seeing children skating, children listening to stories in the library, children having snack and children playing eye spy..... All staff and all children were engaged, appeared to be having a great time and the transition with over 100 children to head back to the school was seamless. We have an incredible group of children in our program and such an amazing team of dedicated staff and leaders. In addition to heading into the community for some adventures it was also costume day. Have wonderful weekend everyone!
Another great week of Summer Program Fun. The children and staff experienced Monday Yoga, explored nature(even the ducks joined us for Nature bingo!), made bird feeders, played with colour, had a dance party with a great DJ and had a visit from Hands on Exotics. Have a wonderful long weekend to everyone!

We are committed to offering high-quality, affordable care and early learning that meets the needs of the many communities and families we serve.
Our Emergent Curriculum play-based learning approach is offered in all our programs and is consistent with the Ministry of Education’s policies and pedagogy, “How Does Learning Happen?”, which is based on four foundations: belonging, well-being, engagement and expression. Our before-and-after school programs also follow the Ministry of Education’s Extended Day program guidelines.
Our full-service daycare facilities are located centrally in Bradford and also in East Gwillimbury on a 3-acre lot on the Marsh. Both our centres are clean and spacious, with ample outdoor space to foster exploration and play. Both centres have secured FOB door access and closed-circuit cameras.
Our before-and-after school programs run at 10 different area school sites in both the Catholic and Public School Boards. School-aged children can also sign up for PA Day care, holiday and March break activities, and summer camp.
