Duties:

• Responsible for safely receiving all inbound shipments, recording goods received and what was short shipped, putting all stock away in the proper locations for storage and access and processing related paperwork.
• Responsible for building skids for shipping goods out and properly packaging all materials for shipout to ensure there is no damage during shipping, and then loading onto trailers for ship out.
• Responsible for all inventory organization to ensure all parts and materials are organized for easy access for staff and to conduct weekly or ad hoc cycle counts.
• Responsible for conducting weekly, monthly and quarterly cycle counts for inventory and communicating inventory levels to Production Coordinator, Shop Supervisor and Purchasing
• Completes purchase requisitions for all B & C materials required based cycle count results and submits to purchasing after analysis of upcoming production schedule.
• Receives goods into ERP - Visual Manufacturing Database.
• Keeps inventory on all welding gases, supplies and propane for tow motors and places weekly order with vendor.
• Responsible for accurately picking all parts orders and packaging them up for shipment within 24 hours of order receipt.
• Visualize how to build skids to ship over-dimension products in a way that will minimize shipping costs.
• Build skids to custom requirements.
• Responsible for organizing and managing inventory including tagging of parts and materials for inventory control.
• Responsible for the care and maintenance of both tow motors, including maintenance activities, such as checking and topping up oil and fluid levels.
• Responsible for attending daily production meetings and being aware of all orders scheduled for ship out so that all skids and packaging are done in response to shipping deadlines.
• Responsible for taking pictures of all skids and materials prior to packaging for ship out to confirm everything has been included on the order in case required for follow-up.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform required pick pack and shipment of daily orders meeting all cut-off times

· Perform receiving of incoming products

· Order picking, with forklift, using RF scanner

· Load and unload products from trailers using forklift

· Efficiently stacking received products in the appropriate areas

· Load orders both manually and with Fork lift in customers trucks

· Work with support staff and other’s when needed

· Organize paper work including picking lists and packing lists

· Be able to use the shipping system and the computer system to track and ship orders

· Use the computer system to look up inventory and help trouble shoot any issues

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous experience with RF scanner an asset

· Must have valid forklift operator license and experience with counterbalance & reach forklifts

· Minimum 3-4 years past Forklift operator experience

· Ability to use PCs, and familiarization with systems, reports, procedures, etc.

· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

· Ability to work cooperatively with others to achieve shared goals, as well as the ability to work well independently

· Willingness to learn and undertake new challenges

· Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

· Flexibility, problem solving, and strong organizational skills

Job Duties

· Stock/refill all paper towel, toilet paper, soap and sanitizer dispensers daily

· Empty outside garbage as required
