Camp Quality Canada provides inclusive year–round programs for children with cancer and blood disorders. Children at camp have the freedom to explore new activities, make friends, and gain memories that will last a lifetime. The funding went towards sending a child to camp.
BCF is proud to support them in playing such a vital role in our community and beyond.

Autism Dog Services provides highly trained service dogs to assist children and youth ages 3-18 years of age with autism and other related developmental disorders. Based in Brantford, they make a difference in fostering the integration of children with autism by training, placing and supporting dogs that offer safety, companionship and independence.
BCF is proud to support them in playing such a vital role in our community and beyond.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Today we are taking a moment to spread a message of thanks to our incredible volunteers and donors who make our community a kinder, better place. This Saturday February 17th is Random Act of Kindness Day, and we encourage everyone to pay “acts of kindness” forward - small acts can be as simple as giving a compliment to brighten someone’s day.

Today marks the first day of the Lunar New Year, marked by the first new moon of the lunar calendar. Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, Chinese New Year, Seollal, or Tet, it is celebrated by Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and other East Asian communities, each celebrating with their own unique traditions. Brant Community Foundation is proud to support the YMCA HBB’s Six Nations Enabled Access Program which ensures children and youth of Six Nations of the Grand River access to YMCA Programs and Services.

December 7th marks the first evening of Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights. It begins on the 25th day of Kislev on the Hebrew calendar. Hanukkah lasts for eight nights and days, and celebrations include the lighting of the menorah, exchanging gifts, and enjoying traditional foods and games. The Brant Community Foundation wishes to all those who celebrate a very Happy Hanukkah!

Woodview Mental Health & Autism Services provides support for children and youth facing mental health challenges and for those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Brant Community Foundation is proud to support Millie’s Milestones, a new program geared at supporting parents and preschool children in the areas of social-emotional regulation, communication, and connection.
