Watoto Canada
Watoto brings hope and healing to vulnerable women and children in Uganda and South Sudan. We aim at the pain in our communities and invite you to join us.
Watoto is a holistic care program that was initiated as a response to the overwhelming number of vulnerable women and children in Uganda. It is positioned to rescue individuals, raise each one as a leader in their chosen sphere of life so that they in turn will rebuild their nation. There's still time to help future leaders like Jeremiah go to school with consistent electricity so they can learn and grow with hands-on computer skills.
We’ve been asking friends and supporters like you to help us raise enough money to bring stable electricity to our Watoto classrooms. Currently, there’s an opportunity to do this before the next school year begins, but we need your help.
If you can help one child experience a classroom with consistent power for lights and computers, you’ll be changing their destiny and future forever. Maybe you can help a whole classroom. Whatever you can give—THANK YOU.

For several decades, Watoto has been providing our students with a quality education without the dependence on power, and the results have been miraculous. We’ve raised doctors, lawyers, teachers, and leaders in Uganda.
But most industries today are dependent on computers and technology. So, electricity is a necessity to prepare our students for their future.
To help supply our classrooms with electricity—and give a child the power to change the world—go to WATOTO.com/donate (link in bio).
Patience is a bright 11-year-old who wants to be a doctor when she grows up.
But, for her going to school wasn’t always possible. Thankfully Patience is now receiving an education at Watoto—and we want to ensure she’s able to learn in the best environment possible.
You can help us provide stable electricity to our classrooms, giving future leaders like Patience a great space to study and the power to realize their dreams.
Give today and create a bright future for Patience and over 3,000 of our students at Watoto. Go to WATOTO.com/donate (link in bio).
Rescued as a baby, today Gift is being raised by her Watoto mother and family with the love of Christ. And as she’s growing up, she’s discovering her favorite things like reading and serving others. So, it’s no surprise that Gift dreams of becoming a lawyer one day.
With updated electricity in our classrooms, you can make it easier for students to learn—and easier for our future leaders like Gift to one day change the world.

We are so privileged to have people who come along side us to help our children at Watoto realize each of these hidden dreams and talents. We appreciate each and every one of you.

Celebrating Christ, Caring for Community
Watoto is a family made up of people from all over the world who are working together to ensure that the forgotten have a place to belong. In a time of civil war, we planted a local church in Kampala, Uganda to speak hope and life to the nation. Since then, we’ve rescued thousands of vulnerable children and women in Uganda, placed orphans in families and empowered women to care for themselves and their children. We’ve also rescued babies and former child soldiers, and sent children’s choirs across six continents.
As we work alongside the most vulnerable in our society, our aim is to rescue and raise each one in a loving family, so they can become leaders who impact their communities and rebuild their nation. In over 35 years, the challenges facing Africa have changed, but our vision remains the same.
