100% Just one reason why all children should be checked by a Pediatric Chiropractor. Examples of Childhood Trauma: A fall off a bike, a slip on the ice, auto accidents, a tackle while playing sports, a tumble on the playground, forceps delivery, pregnancy breech, etc. Early detection is critical. Do not wait till symptoms arise.

Position: Office Administration for Chiropractic Clinic
Location: Burlington, Ontario (Aldershot). We are close to Ikea.
Hours: ~33 hours/week
Shifts:
Monday: 7:00 am – 12:30 pm & 1:30 pm – 6:00 pm.
Wednesday: 7:00 am – 12:30 pm & 1:30 pm – 6:00 pm.
Thursday: 7:00 am – 12:30 pm & 1:30 pm – 6:00 pm (sometimes till 7:30 pm).
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: Closed
*Occasionally some weekend work maybe required (but rare).
Duties: Interacting with patients, greeting patients when they come into the office, booking appointments, answering phones, managing payments, assisting with patient care and keeping the office tidy, organized and running smoothly.
Ideal Candidate: Must be outgoing and have strong customer service skills. This position is the primary contact our patients have with our office, so a heart to serve people is a must. Self-motivated and independent work ethics are necessary. You must be very organized, have strong computer skills, possess a high attention to details and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. An understanding and experience with chiropractic is an asset, but not necessary. You must however have a strong interest and appreciation for natural health.
Chiropractic is a natural health discipline.
At our clinic we focus on pediatrics, so you must love children!

We all should be able to come together and agree that chicken pox parties were just down-right BAD-ASS!
Chicken Pox Party (Definition): A chickenpox party (or "pox party") is when parents deliberately expose a ‘sick’ child with chickenpox to other children who are not yet immune to the virus. By doing so the children would temporarily be ‘sick’ but then would quickly recover while having developed LIFE-LONG natural immunity to chickenpox. - Dr. Mike

Our Story
At Schultz Chiropractic & Wellness Centre our goal is to provide exceptional care to each of our patients.
Everything we do in our office is based on these four principles:
1) Your body is a self-healing, self-regulating organism. You were born to be healthy and are designed to heal. In order to be healthy you body must follow a precise health program (called Innate)!
2) Your nervous system (your brain, spinal cord, and nerves) the the computer that runs this program and it controls every cell, organ and tissue in your body. As long as your brain and spinal cord is able to send its signals to every part of your body, without any interference than you should experience optimal health.
3) If something interferes with the transmission of messages traveling from your brain and spinal cord to the cells, tissues and organs of your body (Subluxation), than your body will not do what it is programed and designed to do it will malfunction. If the malfunction goes uncorrected, over time disease and sickness begins to manifest.
4) Finally, chiropractors goal is to correct this interference to restore law and order in the body. Gentle, effective adjustments are given to correct this interference so your body will heal itself and function at 100%.
CHILDREN AND FULL FAMILY HEALTH CARE
Chiropractic care is just as important for children as it is for adults. Just like adults, children also experience stress that affects their health. In fact, many health problems that we see in adults has its origin when they were children! As kids we fall off our bike, slip and the ice, wipe out on the soccer field and tumble down the stairs. Your first visit involves a proper and very thorough examination of your spine and overall health. At this visit, the doctor will sit down with you to discuss with you your specific health concerns. The first exam usually takes one hour.
Our clinic is fully equipped with modern chiropractic technology, including our very own x-ray facility. This allows convenience for our patients and gives the doctor the opportunity to see precisely the underlying potential causes of your health concern. It also allows us to monitor your progress throughout the care program.

Dr. Michael Schultz B.Sc., D.C., C.M.A.G.
Dr. Schultz graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, specializing in Human Biology. Afterwards, he attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Mike is a member of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario. Dr. Mike has continued his education (Post-Doctorate) in Pediatrics and Pre-Natal training through the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association and various other programs.
Dr. Schultz has been in practice for over 15 years and has helped thousands of patients. He is an active member of the chiropractic profession and is involved in both national and global programs aimed at improving the healthcare of the community.
Schultz Chiropractic & Wellness Centre tithes regularly to Compassion Canada an organization who’s goal is to assist communities in poor countries around the world with the support needed to enhance their health care and schooling of young children.
