Case Study: Lottie Weddings 💍⁠

Lotte Weddings, owned by Charlotte, is a wedding planner in Calgary and Airdrie who was ready to level up her website. She had a logo and colours but needed a stronger brand presence on her website. ⁠

Our goal was to refine her messaging and elevate her site from DIY to professional, highlighting her unique story and expertise in the wedding space.⁠

During Lottie's website rebrand, we started with a detailed questionnaire to capture her story and personality. After analyzing competitors, we crafted new brand messaging, revamped the homepage's sitemap to add her services and an about section, key brand messaging and strategically placed testimonials for credibility! ⁠

The redesign included showcasing more of her brand which we did through refined fonts, more of her colours and adding floral elements.⁠
⁠
The revamped website now showcases her brand, tells Lottie's story and guides viewers through her process, resulting in increased site views, clicks and leads. ⁠

The biggest win was that Charlotte was able to pursue her wedding planning biz full-time and leave her 9-5 earlier than anticipated!! 🙌🏼⁠

If you’re a small biz owner, I highly recommend using Canva Pro! It costs a bit more but helps you build beautifully branded content quickly! ⁠

1. Your brand kit! Add your brand’s colours, logos, fonts, and even pictures so that you have everything in one place and create a consistent visual identity! This can be found in the Brand tab on Canva.⁠

2. The Magic Switch tool! This tool easily resizes any Canva design to fit any other custom-size template! Perfect for resizing carousels to stories! This tool will be at the top of any Canva design you have open!⁠

3. The BG Remover tool! No need for photoshopping! This tool easily cuts out any image from a background! This tool can be found when clicking “Edit Photo” and then going to “Effects”!⁠
