Join us for our annual production, with a story filled with love, passion, tradition, culture, and of course memories.
Our story’s title this year is a play on the Tagalog word “Bituin” which means star.
Our performers have been working very hard, so we hope to see you there!

Guests will be met with a four-course meal, prepared by varying amazing Filipino chefs. “Subo” is the Tagalog word for feed, and UCFSA will ensure that your mouths are fed throughout this beautiful night.

Join us for dancing, dinner, and loads of fun at UCFSA’s Spring Formal! On May 3rd UCFSA will be hosting a Prom from 5 PM-9 PM at the Falconridge Community Association (95 Falshire Dr NE).
The dress code will range from semi-formal to formal, we can’t wait to see all your amazing looks!
It’ll be a blooming night that will be capped at 230 tickets, so make sure to press the link in our bio ASAP.

The event will be ticketed; $10 (+fees) for tickets for everyone (members & non-members).

Hello again and welcome to the new winter term! UCFSA will be back for clubs week so don’t be shy to stop by and say hi ☺️ Come meet the team and learn more about our club if you haven’t already!

As a Filipino organization dedicated to providing a space for marginalized youth to unite and fight for equality and justice, our voices must also be used to fight for the equality and justice of our fellow brothers and sisters. As Canadian-Filipinos, we have the ability to speak up about the rampant anti-Blackness in our communities and how we often appropriate black aesthetics and black culture for our own use without formal acknowledgement. Filipino's can be extremely vocal when it comes to our own issues, but we need to translate and focus that energy into helping others as well. The fight for equality does not stop when our own community is unaffected, but it is achieved when every life is treated with equal respect and love. We cannot sit idly and wait for things to change, rather, we must actively stand by our allies, amplify their voices, and acknowledge racism within our own communities. and they will always matter. We encourage you to sign petitions, donate to fundraisers, and to stand in truth and love with humanity.

As the growing concerns surrounding COVID-19 continues to evolve, we, as a team, have collectively decided to cancel our UCFSA March events. The health and safety of the general public is our top priority and we cannot risk continuing to hold events during this global pandemic. We urge people to remain calm, be in compliance with the recommendations from Alberta Health Services, and practice regular hygeine.

If you're at Foothills Campus, we have a special treat for you! We will be selling Filipino baked goods on March 19 from 12:00pm - 3:50pm at the HSC Atrium. We will be accepting cash and e-transfer, so if you're in the area, stop by and grab a snack! 😄🇵🇭
