10months for my not so little guy! He's a whopping 26lbs with the most squishy rolls and sweetest smile.

I have been so quiet on here simply because my littles consume all my precious minutes like fruit snacks and goldfish! But with the weather turning I'm eager to be back outside chasing sunlight with you all.

How lucky have we been with this weather?! The leaves have stuck around and the sun is warm! Im so here for it!

I have to say I was worried about taking on fall sessions so close to having Jasper but honestly the little bit of freedom and outlet for my creativity was and is so refreshing! I'm grateful for all I get to do!

I'm officially done shooting for fall and now I'm tucking away to my basement office to finish all this editing!

I've made a slow comeback this fall after adding a new little man to our crazy family circus!

I'm excited to be back at it, see familiar faces and meet some new ones too!!

Little man here was so chatty his entire session! He was telling me all about it and how could you not just smile!

These littles are only so little for so long! Soak up those lashes, little wiggly toes and sweet coos.

These two braved some icy winds for these stunning shots! We just kept repeating " it's going to be worth it!"

I try and take some time off during January after crazy the Christmas season and it's rolled into February 🙈

It feels like Christmas is in full swing now! We are headed down to a local light up event here in town and the kids are excited and so am I because I went to the same one as a kid!

This is my favorite part of the year! The build up to Christmas!

Ok ok I will concede, snow is going on the feed!

All my fabulous people who came out to see me this weekend you were incredible! You all handled my quick change of location with ease and were all dressed to impress!

Lika and Zach opted to use this session for their announcement and I squealed when Lika messaged me!

I met Zach shortly after he arrived here from Australia, he was a groomsman in our wedding, we watched him get married to the love of his life and now we get to watch him take this next journey of parenthood!

Congratulations you guys! So excited for you both!

I've given myself a goal for 2023 already.

Goal No.1 - Self Portraits

As a photographer, I know the posing and what I should do but wow I feel silly! Me just by myself!? Give me one of my children to hide behind or blurry in the background.

But I want the romantic, the emotional, the real parts of me on showcase.

I want my kids to look at old photos of their mother and say wow. Say this is my favorite photo of her. To show it to their children and so on.

Because I'm still Simone under this motherhood and she deserves to be seen I think.

Marry your best friend.

I don't say that lightly. Find the strongest, happiest friendship in the person you fall in love with. Someone who speaks highly of you. Someone you can laugh with. The kind of laughs that make your belly ache and your nose snort. The embarrassing, earnest healing kind of laughs.

Life is too short to not love someone who let's you be a fool with them.

It was so easy to see these two in love!

They said they hadn't had photos done of the two of them yet...but they absolutely killed it!

When you relax and just be present with the one who makes you happy then all else fades away and that's when magic happens.
