We partnered with the Calgary Metropolitan Region Board (CMRB) to design their 2022-2023 Biennial Report. This report celebrates achievements and highlights the vibrant future of the Calgary Metro Region through a dynamic visual theme, engaging layout, and curated imagery. We’re excited to share the positive impact and progress within the Region.

When you want someone to come to your school and you’re in the Rockies, you might wish you could bottle up that fresh mountain air. did just that! This packaging project was a promotional item handed out at international trade shows as gifts to entice potential students to study in the Rockies. It offers a whimsical aromatherapy experience, bringing the invigorating scent of a spring mountain meadow right to you. We created the packaging for it, and we think it’s definitely a breath of fresh air.

Curiosity is the heartbeat of science. That’s why has embarked on a quest to radically transform their science centre. After creating the Keep Calgary Curious campaign, we designed a case for support that illustrates the need for the $45 million that Spark is seeking in funding, and inspires prospective donors to help shape a future fuelled by curiosity.

Brand guides give us energy! They are incredibly important, especially when multiple agencies, suppliers, and clients interact with your business. Brand guides serve as the blueprint for your identity, ensuring consistency, clarity, and a unified vision across all platforms. We designed this guide for Careers in Energy to reflect their commitment to ensuring Canada has the skilled workforce required for a thriving energy sector today and tomorrow.

Between heating and cooling our homes, storing and cooking food, doing the laundry and powering all our devices 📱 (not to mention just getting around and doing stuff) takes a lot of energy and creates some pretty large carbon foot prints.
And while we all know we need to shrink those foot prints from Shaq-sized to snack-sized, the truth is, it’s really hard, confusing and difficult to know where to even start.
That’s why we created the Live Net Zero™ Challenge along with our pals A program designed to inspire and educate Canadians on ways we can all reduce our carbon emissions and play a part in the fight against climate change.

Turning the page on a 92-year legacy, we rethought Canadian Geographic’s online publication while honouring the print version of the magazine. Leveraging digital opportunities to surface incredible articles from the past ten years alongside current stories, and bringing content to life in ways not possible in the printed issues, the digital experience is visually rich and easy to navigate.

The home page reflects the magazine’s covers, with a full-screen feature photo and large, centred logo to emulate the Canadian Geographic masthead, which shrinks into the nav bar as a reader scrolls into the home page content. Design elements like black text against white, drop caps, and a serif font for body copy express the editorial nature of the magazine.

We worked closely with The Canada Council for the Arts and the Government of Yukon to bring The 2022 Arctic Art Summit to life online. The Arctic Arts Summit is a celebration of art and culture of the eight Arctic countries and Indigenous Nations of the circumpolar region.

We created an immersive user experience and online space that fosters engagement, conversation, knowledge-sharing and connection. As an extension of the in-person summit taking place in June 2022, the website allows for a broader reach, making the summit experience accessible to people globally. With the holiday season behind us, many are focused on the new year ahead. However, for someone dealing with crises or financial stress, setting goals and making plans can be very difficult to do.

Through Closer to Home’s Adopt-a-Family program, Strutters gladly banded together this past December to provide two families of four with necessities and gifts over the holidays. And while we were able to help reach their goal to match all registered families in 2021, a waitlist remains.

Crafting a new visual identity for Burgess Canadian Resources—a reliable and trustworthy energy company that prides itself as caretakers of an heirloom and a valuable resource for many future generations to come. 

To reflect the dynamic and progressive nature of the business, we designed a geometric icon that emotes energy, power and movement. Hexagons are a structurally stable shape, expressing strength and harmony—a symbol of both organic and technological endeavours. The angular lines that form the icon are representative of rock strata, rolling landscapes, as well as graphs, charts and data. Paired with a refined wordmark and a well balanced palette of rich navy and warm copper tones, a confident, stable and approachable brand presence was formed.

Today, we observe a moment of silence to honour the children found buried at the former residential school on Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation in Kamloops, and all the survivors, families and communities who have suffered as a result of the residential school system.
