To all our valued Patrons,

The Point Pub would like to thank all of our loyal patrons for all of your support during the past long hard 19 months. We appreciate every one of our customers.

With the Government of Alberta’s September 16th Covid 19 mandate the The Point Pub will be implementing the “Restrictions Exemptions Program.” This will take effect September 20th.

With these Covid-19 measures every patron will be required to have a proof of vaccination, negative test within the past 72 hours or documentation of a medical exemption and photo ID ready to be checked by a staff member prior to entering the Pub.

We understand that this decision will frustrate, disappoint and inconvenience some of our customers but we would expect that all patrons be respectful to our team as they have all worked very hard in providing a safe environment during the past 19 months for all our customers and will continue to do so during these latest government measures.

To be clear the Government of Alberta gave us and all other businesses no choice in this matter. It was close our doors and lay off 90% of our staff or implement the Restrictions Exemption Program. This is not a political decision but rather one that is best for the The Point Pub staff, customers and business.

This decision will not be up for debate on a customer by customer basis regarding these measures. This decision was not made by the The Point Pub staff but they are forced into the job of ensuring these rules are followed. They do not need or deserve to be objected to anyone’s political views or opinions. Please respect them during this latest government mandate.
