Born and raised in Calgary, Dr. Stephanie Yaremko grew up with a great appreciation of the outdoors, healthy living, and service to the volunteer community in Calgary. She has contributed to the life experiences of young children in Canada, Nicaragua, the Middle East and Asia; the visually impaired; and foreign students studying abroad. Hello and welcome! There are several new faces here so I thought I'd reintroduce myself.
I'm Stephanie, wife, mother to 3 young children and naturopathic doctor.
I'm passionate about helping families live their best lives by supporting their health. I firmly believe that health is not merely an absence of disease, but rather a dynamic process involving mind, body, spirit and community.
Some interesting/quirky things about me:
- I used to be a clown (currently my juggling and balloon animal skills are passable but rusty)
- I despise the taste of ketchup
- I've travelled to all 7 continents
- I love dancing and used to dance semi-professionally.
- I designed and sewed my wedding dress
If I had to pick a favourite plant, at the moment I'd pick passionflower.

Throwback to just over a year ago. I had a blissful postpartum period- even with a 2.5 year old and 5 year old.
While it was magical, it didn't just magically happen. I had support. Lots of support. (Special shout out to .becoming ) Support that I asked for and set up in advance. (This was not totally comfortable for me as I tend to avoid asking for help...)
Maybe I "shouldn't have had to" prepare this myself but I'd rather accept reality AND create what I need than sit in sorrow over an unfulfilled expectation.
And I got to enjoy and relax the first few weeks with my 3rd newborn.

Save this recipe delicious, natural popsicle recipe 📩
Ingredients:
1 can organic full-fat coconut milk
1 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
2 Tbsp raw honey
2 Tbsp lemon juice
A few pinches of Celtic sea salt
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
2. Blend until smooth.
3. Pour into popsicle moulds and insert popsicle sticks.
4. Put in the freezer for 6-8 hours or overnight for best results.
5. Enjoy on a warm, sunny day
