The Women’s Centre would like to say a big thank you to Benevity for hosting our community in their space for Jewelry making workshop.
Action on food (in)security is needed now more than ever. Join the Women’s Centre for a letter writing action where we will discuss the state of Calgary’s food insecurity and write to our elected representatives for stronger food and income supports.
No experience necessary, letter templates will be provided.

Last Wednesday some of our staff, volunteers and community members went to Rockyview, Alberta to Marianne Disipio’s ranch of solitude, relaxation, learning & soul expression by hanging out with horses all day! This was a therapeutic experience for our community and a great way for them to spend time and connect together on a holistic front outside of the Women’s Centre.
