A rustic cabin in Canmore needed some work. New lighting, furniture and layout provided the update and new found warmth it deserved. So cozy, it’s a great home away from home for our clients!

Last year I was out in Kelowna finishing up the cabin for clients when I was evacuated from the fires. Last week I made it back to finish up!

Change is good. Adding another light source in my kitchen changes the vibe at night.

My great friends had a catch all, large room in the basement that was cold and boring, never really functional, AND they needed it to be a gym and a movie gathering room all at the same time. SO…. Gym floor, ripped out a dated bar and rebuild elsewhere, fantastic deep green accent wall, mirror in the built ins, new furniture, lighting and carpet, PLUS new art everywhere. The results are now no one would want to leave it.

Last week we weee in Vernon working on another model home for WHAT A VIEW! Great floor plan !!

Spent some time setting up this clients home today. It’s been an ongoing renovation for a bit now, it was great to get furniture and more in place today!!

With the skylights and warm woods, this reading area on the mezzanine of this clients home just became more comfortable and personal with the new set up.

It’s the little parts of decorating and design after a Renovation that catch you. How the new lights glow, or how art shines in a foyer, or even just a small bar in your office for happy hour.

I always am craving change. My living room is proof of that.

Installing art at a clients house today. They purchased the center of my show, ‘thank you’. More photos to come as we finish with the rest of the house!

I sold the big bowl painting from my living room so I changed up a few things. I also had to clean out my garage so 2 chairs had to come back up. I am loving the results right now, but that never lasts….. it will change again, you must embrace change.

This year I did a limited edition of 5 prints for 2 paintings from my show. I chose ‘to keep your eyes ablaze’ and ‘waking up with diamonds in your hair’ Candace from the gallery put together a frame package them also. The print is $300 and if you like the black frame add $260 and the gold frame $320. That’s $560 and $620! DM me for inquiries or Christine at the gallery.

A move in started yesterday at a clients new home built by Not everything is here but we set up the new furniture, some art and accessories. Drapery was installed and it feels a little more home to my clients!
