Last minute Christmas Gifts!!! We just received a brand new shipment of Honey candles. The tins and votive sets(1 holder and three votives) are scented with essential oils in Kootney Forest, Rosemary/mint, Mulled Cider and Lavender.

Just in time for Christmas, the candles have arrived! The lotus flowers are floating or can burn on a tray, sold three in a box labeled vibrant, joyful and Tranquil, the rose bouquet are also a pack of three with pink, red and pearl. Then of course we have singles. Let me tell you they have an amazing subtle honey smell, I’m loving it! I have included the price list for you all. They seem pricy but beeswax burns hotter and longer than paraffin wax, the burn time on a 5” pillar is 55-65 hours and if burned correctly are almost dripless.

All of us at Camrose LeChateau Hotel are beyond excited to share a product coming to our Lobby just in time for Christmas! We will be selling Honey Candles, made in Canada 100% beeswax candles. These candles burn cleaner, environmentally friendly, have a honey smell when burning and last longer than regular wax candles. I am looking forward to their arrival next week and will post pictures of their display with prices in the very near future

There have been a lot of questions regarding the cat, so I want to introduce everyone to Ghost. Ghost came to us last winter when it was really cold and he was living outside and no one claimed him. He got his name because we “lost” him for a few weeks, oops, turns out there are more hiding spots then we knew about lol. Now that he is accustomed to the staff, or his personal wait staff, he can often we found hanging out in the lobby waiting to get all the love. He is free to wander the basement, lobby or warehouse, he gets plenty of food and loving. He likes to sit at the door but has no interest in going outside. We think he is a senior, or approaching senior, he will live out his days happy, warm and loved with all the staff and guests of LeChateau Hotel.

The Queen is dead, long live the King.
As we mourn the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada and the Commonwealth. We remember her strength, devotion, and attention to duty.
The Queen passed away peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and the Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

Hiring P/T (3 days per week) Night Audit.
Duties include but not limited to, completing night audit, answering the phone, checking guests in and out, helping maintain the standard of clean and being able to work on your own. There is some flexibility in days, available in the mornings is a must. Duties include but are not limited to checking guests in and out, answering the phone and making bookings, maintaining a clean working environment and being able to work well on your own. Wintery weather for Central Alberta Sunday through Tuesday.

Off and on periods of snow, rain and freezing rain are in store for many areas of Central and eastern Alberta over the next 24 hours. Snow will begin in earnest Monday morning for areas along the Foothills and by the afternoon for Central areas, including the Edmonton Metro.

5-10 cm is expected for areas near Nordegg and Rocky Mountain House by Monday evening while 2-5 cm can be expected for areas near and Southwest of Edmonton. An additional 5-10 cm is likely overnight Monday night from the b.c. Border near Hinton and Grande Prairie southeast through Edmonton and into Saskatchewan for a total of 10-15 cm by Tuesday morning.

On Tuesday, winds will increase from the Northwest and blowing or drifting snow is likely before the winds weaken Tuesday evening.
