GLA:D Spring Session

Starting March 18th the GLA:D program is returning to Cornwall Wellness Centre.

Join this great evidence-based program to help you take control of your knee and/ or hip osteoarthritis (OA). Join the previous 120 participants who have completed the GLA:D program with me and feel the difference and regain a better quality of life.

Structure
7 weeks program
2 education sessions which are aimed at helping you understand what OA, how it affects your hip and knees, plus giving you strategies to help self-manage your OA.
12 sessions in-person exercise sessions over 6 weeks, each session is one hour in duration.
Data collection enables the GLA:D program to continue to develop an effective program and maintain a top quality evidence base program.

We celebrated 2 birthdays at the Cornwall Wellness Centre today! Happy birthday to Kerry and Paige, hope you enjoy your day ladies! 🎉

Sending our best wishes to Hannah this week as she starts her next adventure in Halifax. She will be starting the physiotherapy program at Dalhousie, and we couldn’t be more proud! Hannah has been a part of our family for the past 4 years and she will definitely be missed! Good luck Hannah 💙

New Service Alert!

I am very excited to be bringing this new service to you all.

As of September I will be offering 1 on 1 osteoarthritis exercise and education sessions.

It will follow the GLA:D Canada program which includes:

2 Educational sessions (1 hour per session)
12 Exercise sessions (1 hour per session)

You come into the clinic twice a week for 7 weeks.
