The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is collaborating with the Native North American Travelling College, the City of Cornwall, Children's Aid Society, and Akwesasronon Sonatanoron to hold an event of reflection and learning in honour of Orange Shirt Day. The event will take place on September 30, 2024 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Lamoureux Park, Cornwall. More information will be shared closer to the event.

Stop on by and celebrate our 50th anniversary with us! We have some talented vendors, museum tours, sweetgrass braiding, storytelling, children’s activities, bouncy house, film screening, and sharing circles today!

into and out of Generations Park.

RT 37 entrance will close at 10am you will be asked to enter through McGee Rd for the remainder of the Powwow.
