"Yes my girl. Think of babies: they get to know the world thanks to their touch.
When you look at the hands of older people, they tell more about their lives than any other part of the body.
Everything that is made by hand, so it is said, is made with the heart because it really is like this: hands and heart are connected.
Think of lovers: When their hands touch, they love each other in the most sublime way."
"My hands grandma... how long since I used them like that!"
"Move them my love, start creating with them and everything in you will move.
The pain will not pass away. But it will be the best masterpiece. And it won't hurt as much anymore, because you managed to embroider your Essence.

Basically, everything is always working out for me even if I don’t see it yet. 🥰

Studies show if we are not mindful, about 95% of our behaviors play out from the subconscious programming we acquired in the first six years of life, which means our lives are essentially a printout of our subconscious mind!

It is important to remember that the subconscious doesn’t evaluate or censor self-limiting beliefs, its job is to make sure our life reflects our acquired beliefs. It’s only our conscious mind that can operate in a self-reflective mode, bringing awareness to our acquired programming so we can change it.

However, if the conscious mind is preoccupied, automated behaviors, and acquired responses in our subconscious mind will run the show.

There's a certain point in life one reaches at no particular age.

It's powerful.

It's at this point when you would rather sit and sip the simplest of beverages and read a good book by yourself than be surrounded by others trying to carry on awkward conversations.

It's when you stop worrying about the stain on your shirt as you walk into that store and simply go in to get what you need without a care so you can go back home and put on your favorite permanently stained shirt.

It's when you realize you now likely have a new stained shirt to add to your collection because you couldn't care less about spot-treating anymore.

It's when your tolerance for meanness is all used up and you're completely okay with being that person who calls others out.

It's when you're making the car and credit card payments and absolutely refuse to purchase anything on a payment plan anymore...debt is so overrated.

It's when you're starting to realize how much you have...yet how little you actually need; you wonder what areas you should start downsizing in.

It's when it becomes easier to ignore the drama-chasers and politics-pushers.

It's when life-fulfilling joy becomes a priority and there's no room for self-imposed stress.

It's a big change, but oh man does it make getting older feel sweet.

This fence message on my walk today made me laugh out loud. And then I realized this summed up spirituality so simply. To experience f**k you sometimes and hearts other times. All the while, you’re able to observe both from a distance and appreciate being here to experience them.
