By students for students, the UASU Students' Council is the ultimate authority for your Students' Un This mandate comes from the Post Secondary Learning Act.
Students' Council is the ultimate authority in the Students' Union. It consists of 40 members:
The Speaker (non-voting)
The President of the Students' Union
The four Vice-Presidents
The Undergraduate Board of Governors Representative
32 Faculty Councillors (distributed on a representation by population principle)
The General Manager (non-voting)
Together, these individuals are responsible for fu

Sign up to participate in our Councillor Mentorship Program!
The program is an initiative that will educate you about your Students' Council and guide you through all of its procedural madness. Participants attend Council meetings with a Councillor from their own faculty (when possible), who mentor the participant for the meeting, providing insight into the organization and answering any questions.
