This month, RE/MAX Canada is celebrating their Month of Miracles!
In partnership with Children's Miracle Network Canada, RE/MAX Canada agents have been making personal donations to local children's hospitals for more than 30 years. In northern Alberta, funds raised directly support the Stollery Children's Hospital. Chloe, featured in RE/MAX's latest video, is both an agent and a Stollery mom whose daughter Rosie has received specialized care at the Hospital.
Next time you see a for sale or for lease sign sporting the RE/MAX Miracle Home or Commercial logo, you’ll know that realtor is making a difference for Stollery kids from backyards across Alberta. 💜

We’re celebrating the Stollerific Michaud family – the community event organizers behind The Cabin Cup Invitational. Funds raised from their beach volleyball tournaments help us fund the best research, programs, training and equipment so that kids in St. Lina and backyards across Alberta receive the best physical and mental health care.
“The Cabin Cup Invitational is a beach volleyball tournament we’ve hosted on our grandparents' farm for seven years, bringing together friends and family for camping, good food, and great volleyball. We turned it into a fundraiser for the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, having raised more than $68,000 to date. Supporting this charity, which has helped many of our loved ones, is a privilege and we are committed to continuing our efforts.” – The Michaud family.

Each year, more than 50 Stollery kids call Jasper home. As the long-time host of our Tee Up For Tots golf invitational, the town and its people hold a special place in our hearts.
Our thoughts are with all those affected by the wildfires. Thank you to the countless dedicated first responders working to keep the town and its people safe.
Introducing Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation volunteer, Yasmine! 👋
Yasmine has been volunteering with the Foundation for almost two years. When she’s not busy volunteering, she works as a registered massage therapist.
Let’s learn a bit about Yasmine!
Tell us a fun fact about yourself. 💬
A fun fact about me is that I am a registered massage therapist and own a small business called Secure Therapeutic Massage. I am a huge nerd for anything muscle related and I even have an anatomy colouring book that I do in my free time!
Why did you want to volunteer for the Stollery? 🤝
I started volunteering for the Foundation for the simple reason of wanting to give back. My connection to the Foundation began with learning about their values and the approach that they took to support the Stollery community. I was quickly blown away by how thoughtful the volunteer opportunities were and knew I had to be part of this wildly impactful team. From helping with administrative work to special events, the Foundation has taught me and continues to teach other volunteers that one person can make a positive change in the community. It has filled my heart with immense joy to give back to others through the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
What is your favourite event to volunteer for? 📅
My favourite event to volunteer for is Snowflake Gala! It’s a beautiful and elegant event that demonstrates gratitude towards health -care professionals and shares many Stollery stories. As a volunteer, I get to witness the unity of health care and the strong Stollery community in one place. There are also so many fun activities to help guests with, from the craft tent to the teen lounge. Plus, who doesn’t love dressing up!
Thank you for all that you do to support Stollery kids, Yasmine!
Did you know we not only have a birthday celebration program for kids, but for adults too? We’re celebrating Friday for five years of birthday giving; he asks friends and family for donations in lieu of gifts to support Stollery kids in his community and beyond. We make giving easy and fun by setting up an online fundraising page, where qualifying donors receive a tax receipt, as well as sending out Stollery swag for your big day.
Life’s milestones are worth celebrating — and we can’t wait to help your celebration make a life-changing difference!

What has four legs, soft fur and helps relieve anxiety? The therapy dogs who are a part of the donor-funded Ray Muzyka and Leona De Boer Pet Therapy Program at the Stollery Children’s Hospital!
Since 2015, these furry friends have made more than 3,000 visits to patients before surgeries, during procedures and treatments bringing much-needed distractions to Stollery kids and their families.
A new purpose-built hospital designed with kids and families in mind will have more space for family-centred care programs like these.
Together, we can build a new Stollery.

Heart of Gold
Adelaide loves riding her bicycle, doing gymnastics, going on scary rides at the amusement park and snuggling her cat, Yoda – all thanks to a heart transplant she received at the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
Born healthy, Adelaide developed breathing difficulties at three weeks old and was airlifted to the Stollery. Diagnosed with a heart condition, she went on an artificial heart at three months old that stabilized her until a donor heart was available at six months. Adelaide gets ongoing care at the Stollery and may need another transplant in the future, which is why her family is grateful to have a world-class children’s hospital right in their backyard.
